I wanted a desent point and shoot digital that took good enough quality that if I got a really good shot I could print in any size I wanted. Or that If only a little looked good (like one kid but cut out the other and background) I could crop it and still get good quality.
I ended up with a Nikon 8 megapixel (cool pix???? i think) I also have a sony but that has no battery life.
For a really good camera I have heard there is no better than the Nikon D70 but...as a bad photographer I don't want to spend the money

I knew that some of you had recently got new cameras so I thought I'd ask the real experts that have owned them for a while.

The Nikon D70 is better - it's what he is getting for christmas...The one he has now is great too though.

or if you are like me want to take some more professional pictures then I love canon and it really depends on how much you want to spend also.

But anyway my friend has that sony and its great and takes wonderful pictures!!

Our Lil' Family replied: We've had our Olympus for 3 years and other than the fact that there is a delay between pics that we have to wait, we love the picture quality and ease of use. Like I said though, it's 3 years old and that's a lot for the technology of the new ones. But I'd probably go with an Olympus again!!
