Buckle?

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Always. Even if I'm only going around the corner. It's a habit. One I hope my kids do as well. My MIL doesn't buckle up when she's in the backseat and it drives me crazy. She leans over to talk to us. I don't care what she does in her own car, but in mine, you buckle up!

MyLuvBugs replied: Yep. ALWAYS. Growing up in the country, I've seen several friends have accidents where they weren't buckled up. One friend almost died, and ended up loosing a finger b/c of a car wreck that she wasn't buckled up in.

ions_momma replied: I actually forget most of the time. Especially since we got our new car, because our old one had those automatic seatbelts that just slide up when you shut the door and turn the car on, so I got used to not having to do it. Whenever we are traveling I remember about 90% of the time though!

As for my hubby he is bad about not wearing his seat belt.

C&K*s Mommie replied: I do, and DEFINITELY my kids are always buckled in. My DH does not- except when we rent a car, and the seatbelt reminder dings, he clicks it to lay behind him.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Always, without fail. Ever since I was big enough to buckle myself. My parents never started the car until they heard 3 seat belt clicks from the back seat.

My3LilMonkeys replied: I usually make it about 1/2 mile away from my house before I remember. My parents never made us buckle (horrible looking back but we loved it at the time!) so it is a habit I learned later in life.
