Bryan's cupcakes
redplaydoh wrote: I went to the Family Fun website (thanks for sending that link) and I wanted to do the ice cream cone cupcakes, sent DH to the store only to find out they ONLY carry cones during the summer months. So I quickly asked him to look for a variety of other stuff to decorate with. I wanted green gumdrops so I could make frog cupcakes. No freakin gumdrops... I wanted chocolate buttons so I could make the hedgehog cupcakes... not chocolate buttons. So finally I sent him to the cookie aisle to get cookies so I could make the penguin cupcakes. I got too lazy (2am) to cut the dried apricots in triangles for feet and noses so I just used M&Ms. I think they look more like owls or naked ladybugs. Whatever... I tried.
Here's the pic.
MoonMama replied: Oh those turned out great!!! So cute!
CantWait replied: They look like owls to me, but I think they're super cute. Fits in with the school theme anyway.
redchief replied: Oh man, how creative! If I tried something like that they'd come out looking like a Pac Man nightmare. Great job!
Calimama replied: So cute!!! Great job!
mom21kid2dogs replied: How stinkin' cute are those? His class will love it!
MoonMama replied: I'd love to see that Ed!
redchief replied: No, you wouldn't Ally. Children would be running and screaming in the streets, mothers would gnash their teeth and hide their babes, and grandparents would descend upon Washington to demand a law against nightmare Pac Man cupcakes.
We'll leave the creative desserts to people who have talent in that area.
MoonMama replied:
