Boy o Boy!!
Maddie&EthansMom wrote: I always knew boys were different than girls. I just didn't realize how different they were until recently. Ethan is really developing his personality and he is becoming rowdy, rambunctious and silly. But he is so cute about it. He is very flirtatious and he is always SO happy. I will be honest, I didn't want a boy. When DH and I found out we were pregnant with Ethan I said "Boys are rowdy, rambunctious, loud and they make NOISES!" If anyone knows how much I hate noises it is DH. Tonight we went to eat dinner and Ethan was really showing off. He had his toys and was beating them on the table. DH was really nervous about it, but I couldn't help but laugh and when I would laugh of course Ethan would laugh and keep doing it. DH said "Yep, he is YOUR child!" TeeHee! On the drive home he reminded me of what I said about not wanting a boy b/c they make noises. I said "Well, I guess it is true what they say about it being different when it is your own child!"
A&A'smommy replied: awww lol I have decided now that I don't really want a boy mostly because Dials are REALLY REALLY bad when they are toddlers LITERALLY it can be traced back to great great grandpa dial LOL anyway It is a LOT different when it is your own child
MommyToAshley replied: LOL! Ethan sounds like a real character... I bet he keeps you laughing.
aspenblue1 replied: LOL! that is so true it is different when its your child
kimberley replied: haha sounds like a fun meal what a funny boy you have!
ctymom replied: Yeah... but wait until he's a teen and you have a birthday party with all his friends!! We took my 13 year to Laser Quest with his friends and "boy oh boy" were they a ball of energy!! *whew*
I have a baby girl now and let me tell you.... she is a ball of energy and non-stop. I dont remember being this tired with my boys!

Nicole replied: Hahahaha lol Sounds like you guy`s had a time out eating, I love having boy`s i `m hoping this one is a boy, i have boy`s and a girl but and i think boy`s are easier then girls, my boy`s are loud and all that good stuff and my girl well she is more like me then i would like her to be hahahaha
coasterqueen replied: How funny!
Yeah...they say boys are different than girls but I swear to you Kylie acts more like a boy..rambunctious, loud and all than a girl!
Kaitlin'smom replied: oh boy, does he sound like fun.
very true you say one thing when you have no kids and then when you have one things change, I know DH is a perfect example of one thing said before Kaitlin and totaly different now
ediep replied: thats cute!!!
My friend has a 2 year old girl and whenever Jay and I go over their house, Jason always messes with things that her daughter doesn't even touch. She had photos in frames on low shelves and her DVD player and other electronic things are all out on a shelf....well, Jason always messes with these things. My friend is preg right now with a boy and i am sooooo curious if her son will mess with the things or if Jason is just extra fresh!
favre4fan replied: Boys are a handful!! Mine are getting to the gross stage. They make disgusting noises and their feet stink and they never wanna take a shower, their always mooning each other . Austin always strips down to his boxers whenever he gets home, I have to make him change them or he might wear the same ones for a whole week!! When we are in the car they love to sing that darned diarrhea songs, they always see who can make the best rhyme!! I sure do love them though!!
Josie83 replied: That sounds so sweet! i have to admit that I wanted Cassie to be a boy, but now that we've got her I love her obviously. I always heard that boys wer emore difficult as toddlers and that girls were more difficult as teenagers. Well Cassie's pretty much an angel at the minute, so it sprobably going to hit me hard when she's a teen! xx
Boys r us replied: Little boys are just a whole different breed!!! I love my boys like no other..the little wild children that they are!! Never a dull moment, that's for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TANNER'S MOM replied: Well I guess I am the perfect test study on this because 2 girls and 2 boys.
I will have to say that my boys are easier. They contend themselves to wrestle outside don't care what they wear and feel it' s there job to protect mom while dad is away.
The girls on the other hand are a hormonal mess! Teenagers have been hard on me. Between periods and first love they have aged me ten years. But then every now and then my daught who is 14, will come and sit and my lap and say I love you mommie, and that is why I haven't thrown her out with the bath water yet....lol
In all honestly each child is different. And each is perfect as long as they are healthy and don't send me to the nutt house I am happy.
mama3x replied: I gotta say that DS was MUCH EASIER than DD is!!!!! He was more mellow, more able to play on his own, never made much noise, never got into much trouble, HATED strangers - clung to me all the time. He was just kind of a pleasant little thing to be around all the time. Loved to sleep and eat and love me. Of course now he's 12 yrs old and I am just about nothing to him.
DD on the other hand is NOISY, feisty, stubborn, way active, extremely curious, and has no qualms about smiling or going towards a total stranger. I FEAR the teen years for this one!!!!! Unless she goes opposite like DS. We shall see.
With another DS on the way, I can't help but feel he'll be beaten into a wimp by his sister...
redchief replied: Noises? What noises?
