Bless his heart

This morning I had an OB appointment, which of course DH always goes to. He had asked me to wait to have breakfast so we could eat together after our appointment. So we were eating breakfast and discussing the conversations with our doctor and we were talking about my fears of having a VBAC. I had mentioned something about my body being different this time. He then replied "I think you'll be successful with a VBAC because this time around you are DEFINITELY wider." I about floored him, jokingly of course.
Bless his heart he was trying so hard to reassure me that we'd be ok with a VBAC that he didn't really mean to say what he said in the way it actually came out. I told him I'd make him pay for his choice of words tonight.
He did make me feel better about how we are going to deal with this VBAC though.
