Black Friday - who is going shopping

lisar wrote: Okay who is going to jump into the mix on Friday to go shopping? I am. I love it, its so funny to watch all those people go crazy just to save ten bucks. My best friend does ALL her shopping that one day. I might pick up a few things here and there.

Kaitlin'smom replied: I dunno I might, seing as I have bairly started and normally I am almost done. I am lacking some real modivation this year. I did pick up a couple things this past weekend.

msoulz replied: Not a snowball's chance in you-know-where will I be out that day!!!! I am so not a shopper! I love my net shopping - click click, come to my door!

Now DH may go first thing (5 am like) to try to get a Wii for the boy but that's his choice. He went out last year to a sporting goods store and it was a zoo already that early.

DH's SIL does her shopping that day too, but she is a shopper. She does get great deals!

HuskerMom replied: I might go and pick up a few things but I probably won't end up staying long. I usually don't have alot of patience when the stores are busy. rolleyes.gif

Calimama replied: If DH was here I would but by myself with Miabella..? No way. tongue.gif

Jamison'smama replied: I think I'll go, I need to look at the ads again and see if any are having sales on what I need. I also need to get my list straightened out to see what I have left.

Anyone know if any of the stores are having a good sale on the Fisher Price Digital Art Studio?

stella6979 replied: NO WAY JOSE!!! But best of luck to ya. biggrin.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied: As long as I can get my mom to watch Tanner for a bit I will go with Aiden and hit a few early bird sales! thumb.gif I love shopping, even if it's crazy.

grapfruit replied: I thought about it. But really I only have 3 things left to get (something for Tim's mom-any ideas!?!?! A wool pea coat for his dad (Getting that at Kohls) and then a gift card for my dad-unless he gives me a better idea). Other then that just a few odds and ends, like a Webkin charm for Megan.

luvmykids replied: Not this year. I think a lot of stores are offerring great prices online too so I'll be online all day instead of in line laugh.gif

lisar replied:
Yea we dont take any kids with us to make it easier. And the sale at toys-r-us starts at 5am so we will be there in line.

PrairieMom replied:
No doubt. People loose their minds! what is Christmas all about anyway? huh.gif
I'm pretty much done shopping, I just have a few things to pick up, and I will be doing that when all the crazy people are at work!

My2Beauties replied: I've never done it before but I have gotten up the courage to try it this year, if I get into a fist fight at Toys R Us I'm blaming DH for talking me into going laugh.gif He wants to go. If we do decide to go (because me getting up at 3am doesn't mix with ANYTHING, even shopping... laugh.gif ) I'll report back!

luvbug00 replied: I will be the FIRST in line at all major department and toy stores!!!!! thumb.gif cool.gif

moped replied: Ok you guys are making me jealous - I could shop each and everyone of you under the table - I am super shopper and can't wait to hear all your stories!

3xsthefun replied: I'm undecided. I did see a couple good deals but not sure if they are worth fighting a crowd over. I really hate crowds though.

bawoodsmall replied: Me my sis and mom go every year. It is more the fun of the chase than anything with us. It is tradition for us to go at 5:00. Prob wont buy much but we still have a blast.

Cece00 replied:
I'll take your bet, girl. rolling_smile.gif I am crazy about shopping & good deals too thumb.gif

I have started to plan my list. There are websites that already have the lists out for most stores, so I've been making my list & I need to decide where I'm going & what I am getting.

I am pretty much done shopping but DH will do some shopping for my presents & there are some things I want for the house that will be on sale (sheets, kitchen things, etc) so we're going to go bright & early.

I always stay away from Best Buy & Toys R Us, though. Around here they are the WORST. Target is usually very tolerable, and Walmart is OK...there are a few new stores I will try this year, too, so I dont know how they will be.
