Birthday sharing...
MamaJAM wrote: Just curious -
Does anyone in your family share a birthday with anyone else in your family? Including a member of your immediate-family sharing a day with an extended-family member.
In our family - ~DD#1 was born on her grandfather's b-day (DH's father).....first grandchild too.
~And my boys share a b-day -- exactly 12 months apart.
Tylersmommy replied: nope we all have different b-days just a lot of b-days in the same months like March has 5 b-days plus that's when my son is due lol but none on the same days
C&K*s Mommie replied: Ours do not, but they are mighty close in the dates!
mom21kid2dogs replied: My brother and I are 1 year and 1 day apart. We always had to "share" the day! I hated it!!! (Although I don't blame my mom for combining them~she had 6 kids, poor woman! ) Other than that~we just hit lots of holidays. I have a brother born on Easter, a brother born on Thanksgiving, my Dad's birthday is on Groundhog's day, my sister's birthday is the day before Christmas and a brother is the day after Christmas. My brother that I share with was born on Flag Day. I was born on Friday 13th! Now THAT's what I call family planning!
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Well my cousin had 2 children 2 years apart. There birthday's are Feb 13th & 14th. My sister and my uncle share the same birthday March 3rd.
Bee_Kay replied: On my husbands side of the family there are a few that share the same birthday on valentines day.
His grandma His aunt (grandma's daughter) His uncle (grandma's son)
And our anniversary
Our son's birthday is New Years Eve and my daughter's birthday is middle of summer.
BAC'sMom replied: MIL and I share the same birthday. I also have 2 nephews (their brothers) that are 2 years 1 hour and 10 minutes apart. They have pretty much been raised as twins. They graduated college on the same day, got engaged in the same week and both got married seven weeks apart. We have bets that their wifes will have babies at the same time too.
Kaitlin'smom replied: thankfully no
then I remembered I have a niece and nephew one is the 22 and one is the 24th so I am sure there mom shares the day
kit_kats_mom replied: no, but I was born the day my Great grandma was buried.
mckayleesmom replied: Mckaylee and her uncle Bob (my sisters husband) share a birthday.
fashionmumofboys replied: My two youngest boys are 12 months less 5 days apart, so I usually celebrate them together which I hate doing because a birthday is supposed to be a special day for that person and not share it together. Since they are still a bit small to really understand the concept, I will keep doing it together, it will probably change when they get a bit older though.
My3LilMonkeys replied: Madison shares a birthday with her uncle (my BIL). I heard about forgetting to buy him a present for MONTHS.
I share a birthday with my Great Aunt.
ETA: We do have 2 "party sharers" - I share a party (usually just a cake) with FIL (born 2 days later). And Brooke and MIL celebrate together (also 2 days apart).
Momof3inMe replied: DD shares with her grandmother. MIL plassed away before I met DH so we never got to know her.
jacobsmama replied: and uncle and a cousing new years eve! But they are 35 years apart! lol
MommyToAshley replied: My mother, grandfather (her Dad), and great grandmother all have the same birthday. I was supposed to be born on the same day, but my Mom said that she walked the stairs for weeks to try to start labor because she wanted me to have my own birthday and not share it with anyone. I was born two days before their birthday. Just think, if I had been born 48 hours later, I would have been the fourth generation born on the same day. My neice's birthday is the day before mine and my nephew's birthday is two days before my birthday. January is a busy(and expensive) month for us.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Logan was born on his grandfather's birthday. Aaron's dad. But not my choice. I labored for 24-1/2 hours with the little turkey. He was born at 2:38am on grampa's birthday.
amymom replied: My mother was one of 5 girls (8 brothers) and 4 of them were born on the 22nd of different months. The fifth was born on the 21st.
My daughter was born on Feb 4th. That was my grandfather's birthday ( my mom's dad). It was also the day an Aunt received a kidney transplant. I found out after my dd was born that my mom used to call her sister (that received the transplant from a brother) every year on 2/4 and wish her a 'Happy Birthday'. My mother has many relatives whose birthdays are on Feb. 4th.
Grandpa ~~~ 1900 Feb 4th Aunt's transplant ~~~~ 1980 A cousin, Mary 1995 A cousin, John 1996 my dd 1997 A cousin, Mary 1999 A cousin Michael 2004
Other than that no sharing of birthdates.
luvbug00 replied: we have MAJOR birthday sharring...
