Bill O'Reilly makes me ill.

I do not watch the show and really do not know much about this guy but my sister (who is a bit of a homophobe herself) thinks he's the best on the show. She even said, " I like him even if he is gay." (that was a big step for her )

He is a good looking guy, and he's talented and people will continue to like him no matter what. I am preferring Danny though...not only is he great, but he's from Milwaukee WI so I'd feel like I betrayed him if I supported anyone else.

I'm not hopping on the controversial bandwagon...but the cropping of the pics is a little unnecessary. Like you don't know what the pics are of because you don't see the lips???

I like Adam, even if he is a little pretentious at times. He's talented and creative and not afraid to take a risk, all valuable commodities for a pop star. I also adore Danny, though I do think he's a bit of a one trick pony.

LOL, you wouldn't last one minute in South Beach, not ONE minute. And Idk, given that I live walking distance to South Beach, maybe I'm desensitized but I have to say that I am as hetero as they come and have never kissed a girl, nor do I have any desire to but I don't care what two consenting adults do and if they do it in front of me, let's just say I find it no less and no more bothersome than when a man and woman do the same in front of me.
I think at the end of the day, people should be allowed to be happy. Imagine what a wonderful world we'd live in if everyone were happy and no one was forced to live by the belief systems of others.
As for Billy O'Reilly, not only on this subject but in general...no comment.

MommyToAshley replied: I watch O'Reilly, but I don't like his show as much as I used to as I could do without all the gloating over his ratings for the week. But, I usually find the show interesting and entertaining.

As far as the photos, I don't see how they are relevant to American Idol or even newsworthy. As a Christian, I think most know where I stand on the issue of homosexuality. But that does not give me the right to judge others, and whether I agree with Adam's lifestyle or not has nothing to do with his singing. What he does in his own personal time is as irrelevant as what the other contestants do in their spare time and does not affect who I would vote for or who I hope to win. Adam is among the ones that I think are talented on the show.

Mike Huckabee is awesome though. Even though I don't agree with him about 50% of the time I still like how he gets his message across. Even when he's taking a nice pointy jab he still does it with dignity and poise. Sooo unlike O'reilly.

I wasn't sure how to feel about Adam's "Ring of Fire" thing a few weeks back, Jessy, but I do admire his penchant for taking creative risks.
In the entertainment world, being gay isn't the liability it appears to be for some people here and elsewhere. For me, who someone sleeps with is completely inconsequential, and I have a feeling the voters of American Idol probably feel the same, for the most part.
