Jason's Papa replied: The premise of the show seems a little ridiculous or freak-show-ish, but it's one of the most well-written and compelling shows on TV. You find yourself getting into their world and lifestyle and believe it or not, you can actually find yourself relating to them in a lot of ways.

jcc64 replied: I've watched it here and there, though I'm not really a fan. I find the modernity of the characters in conjunction with the premise a little incongruous. I know that such a lifestyle exists, but I don't think the types of people in that show would be the types to be living that lifestyle, especially Jeanne Tripplehorn's character. She just seems too modern, for lack of a better world. And Chloe Sevigny's character, despite all her prairie skirts, just doesn't strike me as someone who would put up with sharing anything with anyone. Idk, just doesn't really work for me.
Dh and I recently picked up "Dexter" on Showtime as a viewing habit. Just got through the first season. You should check that out--totally creepy but very captivating.

lisar replied: I have never heard of it.
