Big Al's 18 month pics - and some others

yeah, we took ben for his first set of pictures at walmart when he was 3 months old and they were HORRIBLE, and I thought, "we could totally do this..." so we bought the umbrella lights and a few backgrounds and have been slowly improving through the years. They aren't the best, but I think we are definitely up there with Walmart in terms of quality.

Just out of curiosity Prariemom, where did you get the lights and backgrounds? Was it all pretty pricey? I would love to take my own pics.

Where did you get your umbrella lights from?? I have been looking around for some and I would like to get some before I take our christmas pictures (if Jeremiah EVER hangs up my backgrounds)

We got them on EBAY, it came as a kit, a few lights, stands, umbrellas and then a video of how to use them. It has been over 3 years since we got it, I THINK it was all maybe $300? I highly doubt it was more than that, I wouldn't have spent the $. The backgrounds are separate, they can get pretty pricey too. I get those off EBAY too. Except for the brown one, that is "satin" from the fabric store.

I like the butterfly one too, but I LOVE LOVE the diaper and pearls one. I think it really shows her personality. TOOO CUTE!
