Flew over the hand bars and smashed into a cars windshield. He was mercy flighted to a trauma center and no word on how severe his injuries are...

Pray for him and his family

Sorry Pittsburgh is home(well not anymore but was) and my team so... Plus i think its great when a young gun shows up in these sports and prove themselves to be jsut as great as the old timers....

J-rod replied: Pa has no helmet law...he has stated he doesnt like wearing one.

this guy is worth millions and makes millions and jeopordizes his carear/and life to not wear a $50 piece of safety.

aspenblue1 replied: I hear he was in a wreck but didn't know how bad it was. I hope he is ok

~~*Missi*~~ replied: i am guessing since in Nursing we call them donor cycles add that with no helmet ummmm yeah....

I don't know i hope he is ok so his mama and the team can kick his !@# for not wearing a helmet

~~*Missi*~~ replied:
Yeah god forbid he mess up that beautiful curly hair or save his $%# for another season.... LOL sorry but if I was worth 1/2 of what he is i would wear two, well NO i wouldn't get on a motorcycle LOL

Bee_Kay replied: How sad sad.gif

Hopefully he will recover well and learn something from it.

mammag replied: I'm a fan so this is upsetting. What a fool to not wear a helmet! DH & I were just talking about this the other day. Yeah, you may be a perfect driver but you never know what is going to happen when you're not the only one on the road.

Very sad though and he'll be in my prayers.

BAC'sMom replied: I'll keep him in my prayers

Kaitlin'smom replied: well even though I am not a squeeler fan I do hope he is okay.

TheOaf66 replied: always a shame when something like that happens sad.gif

CantWait replied: Pretty senseless if you ask me. I don't wish the worst on anyone so I hope he makes it out ok, and learns a valuable lesson. Prayers to his family.

msoulz replied: Good thing he got his superbowl ring last year, may not have another chance.

I just don't get those who refuse to wear helmets. THe best driver in the world can still be creamed by a crappy driver.

kit_kats_mom replied: I hope he heals quickly and lives.

Motorcycles are bad. I hate them. I have had two friends die on them and neither of them were results of the cycle driver.

The first was Steve. A young man who had married a friend of mine right out of HS. Steve was the type of guy who ALWAYS drove the speed limit and spoke up if you didn't. Always wore his seat belt etc. He kinda drove me nuts really. Anyway, he was military and being sent to germany, with his bride of one month, right out of basic training and tech school. She had already shipped all of her stuff to Germany and was awaiting his return to her so they could fly over and begin their lives together. He left tech school and was driving his BMW motorcycle down an old two lane HWY in the middle of the night when a woman backed out of her driveway without her lights on. He hit her trunk then was flipped into the path of an oncoming semi. A 19 year old widow is depressing. Having her new (dead) husbands mangled cycle sent to her parents house to sit on the porch...even more so. It was awful.

Then another friend and his wife were avid weekend cyclists. They'd go on "tours" around Tennessee on their bikes. She was 12 weeks pregnant and they'd gone on a weekend tour then started their work week. He didn't show up for work and according to the reports, the front brake suddenly locked up on him for no known reason and pitched him into a concrete culvert. He was wearing a helmet but he died from chest trauma.

Such sad, preventable deaths. bawling.gif Motorcycles are the one thing that I will pray my children never get the itch to try. sad.gif
