They sound great, although I have never had one. And since they seem to originate out of Texas, I was wanting to know if the Texans here (or anyone else) if you knew how they tasted, and how they were made.

I have an idea now on how they are made.

So has anyone tried them yet?

ETA: Because we don't already have enough fried foods..

Honestly. I use to hate cauliflower and still hate plain cauliflower, but I use to work for this little family run burger joint and we use to sell them with cheese sauce....they were so delicious..

They also had breaded zuchini (which I still wasn't keen on) , mushrooms (I don't eat mushrooms) and breaded pickles which were yummy too.

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the fried snickers, fried nutter butters, fried twinkies and the fried elvis.

But the fried oreos aren't good at all.

One of these days when I am craving sweets I will have to give the fried Twinkies, and Snickers ago, they sell them at a sweet shop in one of our malls. Most of the time a little taste of something sweet will satisy. I was tempted the other night at the fair to try one of those you mentioned Tish. They had the Oreo's, Twinkies, and Snickers all deep fried.

Never in my life had I heard of fried cauliflower. But if you are not a fan of plain cauliflower, but you liked them fried them I may have to try them if I ever run across it.

Similiar to fried zuchinni, I love fried yams. I am not sure if a Japanese restraunt in one of the local malls still sells them, but at one time I used to always order some. They came with the eggplant and zuchinni (both fried) but I never took a liking to those, only to the sweet potatoes.

CantWait replied: I haven't had any of the deep fried sweets yet, hope to some day soon, but I love deep fried vegetables (zucchinni, cauliflower etc...).

The deep fried chocolate bars are dipped in batter and then fried.

mom2my2cuties replied: No - we don't sell a lot of fried stuff yet. Nicole - but I might mention it if we can find a good recipe for it and he can do it I have only had the deep fried snickers once Bri - and I LOATHE chocolate. but those were good =)

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Yep, we fry E V E R Y T H I N G here. I didn't actually try the fried coke, it was new to the state fair this year. I did see it and asked them how they make it. It's a coke flavored batter (think donut holes) they fry it and pour a coke syrup on top, top it with whipped cream and strawberries. It looked delicious and people were lined up buying it.

Fried pickles are my very favorite food. You can get fried zucchini anywhere here. Red Lobster has fried broccoli. And fried mushrooms are plentiful. I also love fried corn.

Ellie replied: I've heard of it but never actually seen it. Usually they have that kind of stuff during the rodeo. I'll probably have to check it out.

and I LOVE fried pickles. I want some now.

I love breaded fried cauliflower! We have a restaurant that makes them with cheese inside and they are delicious!!! I also love breaded fried cheese curds dipped in ranch dressing. THOSE are to die for! I have had fried green beans too which are pretty good, and fried Zuchini.
