Bedtime - What time do your kids go to bed?
MotherForever2043 wrote: During the school year what time do your kids go to bed? Since Amber is going to 4th grade, I let her go t o bed at 8:30. Her previous bedtime was 8:00. Esther goes to bed 10-10:30 (but she doesn't really have a SET time, just as long as she doesn't stay up past 11:30). She always has papers to write and projects to do
Calimama replied: Bella's too young for school but she goes to bed at 8:30!
luvmykids replied: They've been going to bed around 8:30 but I think we may have to make it earlier...they're still tired in the morning (at 7am) and wiped out after school.
Mommy2Isabella replied: Isabella goes to bed at 8:30 given she has had her two naps during the day.
If she skips a nap she goes to bed at 7:30 or 8 ...
momtoMegan&Alyxandria replied: Meg goes to bed at 9:00. She has always been a nite owl, and she doesn't give me any trouble in the morning getting up. She still gets 10 hrs of sleep too. Alyx goes to bed between 9:30 and 11:00. It depends on how many and how long her nap(s) were during the day. Most of the time it is closer to 9:30 though.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Between 9 and 9:30, sometimes later. I've tried getting him to sleep earlier, but to do it he has to skip naptime and that's a nightmare.
bawoodsmall replied: Aiden(16 months) is a bear before 8:00 so it is usually around 7:15-7:30. Emily (4 on October 1) is 8:00
xxRachxx replied: my little girl normally goes to bed around 9.30 as shes a terrible sleeper
mom21kid2dogs replied: Olivia (age 6) has always been a night owl. Lights out in our house is 10pm during the school year. She has to be up for school at 8:30am so she gets a good night's sleep despite the late bedtime. Summers~we're lucky to be in bed by 11:30pm. Of course, she's rarely up before 9:30 in the summer.
(Feel free to hyperventilate now, Jen )
sparkys2boys replied: Logan 8 and going to gr 4 goes at 8:30.. we tried for 9 and never ever again.. not even when he is in high school And Cameron who is 5 and starting k-garten will be going at 8.
MoonMama replied: Brae is too young for school too, but he goes to bed at 9:00.
luvbug00 replied: 8:30 any later and i have a green eyed monster on my hands. But she has stayed up with her incapable father till 2 in the morning before . ( then he gives her to us and she is major grumpus!)
My3LilMonkeys replied: I have a pair of night owls on my hands - mainly because DH works until 1:30 AM so it helps him if they sleep in a bit in the morning so he can get a full nights sleep. Madison (2) goes to bed around 10 and Brooke (3 1/2) usually 11:30 or so.
coasterqueen replied: They both go to bed at 8 pm but most times aren't asleep til 9 or later. Kylie is my night owl. They are both morning people.
MommyToAshley replied: During school, Ashley is put to bed between 8 & 8:30 but doesn't usually fall asleep until around 9ish. She gets up at 7:45 am and is out the door by 8:20am in the morning.
During the summer, I am lucky if she is asleep by midnight. She is really a night owl like her Daddy. This past 4th July, we went to a party at a friends house and she was still going at 4am. The rest of the kids had been passed out for many hours. LOL
lovemy2 replied: Dylan - is usually about 7:30 - Olivia - well let's just say her bedtime will be much more routine starting next week
coasterqueen replied: How on earth Dee Dee do you get her moving so fast in the morning?
Kylie gets up at 6:30 am (we have to force her up) and it takes her til 7:15 / 7:30 and me being a drill sargent to get her moving.
Kaitlin'smom replied: 8:30p but she is not normally asleep till about 9:30p she gets up around 7a some times early sometimes late and now we are out the door at 7:45ish. I woudl ike her to be asleep by 9p so I am going to have to try and get her started earlier for bed.
MommyToAshley replied: I usually have to wake Ashley up, but I am usually up before her. I get more work done this way. I usually make her breakfast first and then wake her up. I also get her clothes ready the night before or before she wakes up. She wears a uniform so there's no discussion or decisions about what to wear. We also put her homework and pack her backpack the night before. Her snack is uusally some kind of fruit so I just stick that in right before we go.
So, she gets up, eats, brushes her teeth, and gets dressed... and out the door we go. No piddling around or watching TV. She'd prefer to sleep those few extra minutes than have time to do other stuff in the morning. (She gets that from Dad too.... LOL)
coasterqueen replied: Yeah, I do all that stuff to get ready. I guess it's because Kylie takes forever to eat breakfast.
moped replied:
Having a coronary!!!
Kidding...........
moped replied: Jack is in bed at 7 - wakes up at 7
lisar replied: Lexi's bedtime is at 8:30pm. And Raygens is at 7:30pm.
BAC'sMom replied: Sharply @ 9:00
Insanemomof3 replied: My kids go to bed at 8. Sometimes they stay up later depending on what is going on, but usually 8 comes around and I am ready for the peace. LOL
Boo&BugsMom replied: Tanner is in bed by 8 or 8:30. Now that he's starting school it may be earlier, like 7:30, possibly 8 because he wont be getting a nap anymore.
Aiden we start rocking to sleep by about 7:30. He usually is asleep by 8/8:30, depending on how much trouble he gives us.
stella6979 replied: Avery goes to bed around 7:30-8:00, but now that her molars are coming in, she NEVER sleeps. I'll be lucky if I'm able to keep my sanity through the end of the week.
MotherForever2043 replied: Same with Amber
flirtycuddle replied: Will is 7:30 now and he goes right out but hes only 1 lol. Jackie on the hand doesn't know what sleep is. It's a battle from 8:30-10 or so when she goes to bed then shes up at 8am. If she takes any naps she's not going down till 11 but her dad is the same way...complete night owl and works till 9 4 days a week so she wants to be up when daddy gets home.
Cece00 replied: My kids are usually in bed around 7:30-8 pm
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Wil about 8:30pm Wesley about 7pm It totally varies, but that's the time I shoot for!
holley79 replied: Annika's bedtime is 9 everynight. Last night she stayed up a little late because we were watching a movie.
lesliesmom replied: Leslie (6) and Christopher (4) usually go around 8-8:30. Leslie has to be up by 6:45 for school so she can eat and get dressed and we are ALL out the door by 7:20. Chris I let sleep until about 7 - he doesn't have to eat breakfast at home.
Lindsay (15m) usually goes down about 8 but wakes up anywhere from 5am (when daddy leaves) to 7... the 5am makes for a VERY grumpy mommy though so I try and get her back down if possible.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Claudia goes to bed between 8:00 and 8:30, Spencer is around 9:30 and Emily stays up until about 10:30. I think I'm going to find that Spencer is going to be more tired when he comes home from school, so he may start going to bed earlier.
3xsthefun replied: Kaitlynn and Maegan go to bed around 8:30-9 pm. I have to get Kaitlynn up for school around 7am and out the door to catch the bus at 7:55 am.
Ryan he does to bed between 9-10:30 pm just depends how his day goes. He will sleep until 4-5 am some mornings and then other mornings 6-7 am.
