In the sun, his hair is the most amazing color. I do not know WHERE he's getting his little red-headed-ness. I'm a dark brunette (always have been) and DH was a towhead who is now completely bald. There are some auburn haired folks on my Dad's side of the family - an Uncle, a cousin.

Anyway... check out my little red-head! And notice the bare-feet. I'm talking GORGEOUS day!

I'm so jealous of your weather. We are getting to the transition between winter and spring. One day it will be 50 and sunny and the next it will be 20 and snowy. Lots of mud. I'm sick of being inside so much.

Hey - I'm actually "north of Dallas" too. We live in Corinth... south of Denton, north of Lewisville. It's easier to say "Dallas" since virtually everyone knows where that is.

Joshua also has a reddish tint to his hair. I am brunette and so is my DH. Like you said, I think some cousins and distant relatives have some red in my family. I love it, though!

It's raining off and on here but the temperature is nice (low 60's). I actually let Maggie and Joshua play outside today without coats! It was great!
