Basement is a go!

I was so stressed out last week over this because he was taking back a promise, but we talked more about it over the weekend. He was just concerned about all the layoffs at his work and so he wanted to work on the basement, just wasn't sure how much we should do. So we are going to do just one room and go slowly from there.

I'm still so excited!!!! The drywallers come next Monday to start "finish" drywalling! YAY!

I'm not sure how much of our basement we'll get done this year, maybe just that one room, who knows. I don't *think* furniture will be in the picture for a long time, though, lol.

I'll try to post some. I forgot to take pics of the basement before we started. We hung drywall earlier this year ourselves and DH ran all the electrical. I've got some pics but it's hard to get a good angle with the camera down there to get the "full effect". But I will.
