Bad news for Alexis

She spiked a fever of 105.something last night and we took her to the after hours clinic. a few hours later she spiked that fever again, and started projectile vomiting. So, after 5 hours with a screamy sick kid they finally admitted us. Apparently she just has a stomach bug and got dehydrated.  THey are thinking we may be able to go home tomorrow, if she drinks enough, but she is having severe stomach cramps, so she isn't to willing to eat and drink for us. 
Anyway, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
ANd send me so some sleep vibes, I'm on hour 37 with absolutely no sleep.  I need a nap. DH is staying with Al tonight and I will be taking The Boy home .

PrairieMom replied: I called the hospital this morning, and apparently she slept good, had a little trouble with tummy pain once, and totally soaked her diaper, jammies and bed twice.  Thats my girl! 
Ben and I went to target and he picked out a pink care bear "to make her feel better" so we are up, and ready and heading out the door to go back to the hospital right now. He has been such a champ through all this.
and, Today is his birthday!!

jcc64 replied: Oh man, Tara, how traumatic for all of you! Big hugs- hope it doesn't last too long for her. I remember Corey going through that, same 105 fever, not able to keep even a drop of water down- and she was so little at the time. Very scary.

PrairieMom replied: Things seem to be looking better. she needs to drink 28 ounces today, and so far, at noon, she has had about 7  at least she doesn't seem to be having that pain anymore. She keeps trying to walk out the door, and gives me attitude when I won't let her leave. My old Ally is back!  If she behaves we might be able to leave this evening.
Ben doesn't seem to mind his birthday being today, he is telling all the nurses about it, and getting tons of attention, plus he got a toy from the gift shop. He's not hurting a bit.
