Bad dreams you had! - What is

A&A'smommy wrote: the weirdest, scariest or most memorable dream you have ever had? And how old were you?

Mine was when I was about eight years old, my parents, little brother and I were living with my parents I was sleeping on the floor in the room my parents slept in (and little brother) and I remember this GIANT man was stomping around looking for me and I kept running from him. I remember waking up really scared that someone was going to stomp on me lol.
And then there was another one but I don't think i will share it, it's kinda embarressing! rolling_smile.gif

mummy2girls replied: OHHHH Jessy I had so much wierd and scarey dreams ....I will share a wierd one though.LOL

I dreamt that my dad was pregnant! Is that wierd enough for you.LOLOLOL

I did have a dream though that i was pregnant, my dad, and all my friends was pregnant. and within a few days my grandma passed away. I looked up what having a baby or being pregnant means and it means a death close to you is upcoming or already happened. WIERD!

A&A'smommy replied:
WOW! That is weird LOL its funny your DAD pregnant LOLOL rolling_smile.gif that made me laugh out loud!

CantWait replied: I keep having this dream that I was making pancakes and all of a sudden it kept getting bigger and bigger and filled up the room dunno.gif

Another one I had was I was pregnant and on my way to a doctors appointment, but I was being chased by some forgien soldiers in tanks. My husband saved me, and got me to the door of the office but just as I was going in I was shot dunno.gif Little scary if you ask me.

momma2jenna replied: ohmy.gif in elementary school, I had a dream someone was chasing me in a dark parking garage.............
Now, it seems I have recurring dreams of tornados and snakes. Not in the same dream of course, boy that would be bad!

kit_kats_mom replied: I've had quite a few bad dreams.

The most recent was one where DH and I had another baby. A boy named Nathan. He was a newborn and we were so busy with him and Katherine that both of the kids ended up kidnapped by the end of the dream. That was in addition to us forgetting to strap both of them into their car seats which resulted in him breaking his arm (which I didn't notice for a full day), and forgetting to feed them.

When I was pregnant, I dreamt that I gave birth to a little monster and I kept forgetting her....at the store, in the trunk etc. It was awful

When DH and I first moved in together I had a dream that I was being taken hostage and let into a dungeon. My captives closed the door and it was really, really dark. I started panicking and knocking and kicking at the dungeon door...problem was, I had actually gotten out of bed and closed myself in the bathroom. I was screaming and making a ton of racket. Scared the crap out of DH. unsure.gif We saught treatment for my sleepwalking after that. happy.gif

Finally, one of the scariest, oddest dreams I had occured when I was a teenager. I dreamt that my friends and I were in a convoy across the country and there was a huge open field with ditches on each side of the road. We saw the sun start spiraling around and it became a type of tornado so we got into the ditches. It rained a material simliar to molten gold. I picked up a piece and kept it. Later on, we were at a party and the piece of metal turned into a tiny knight on a horse and he kept following me around. The scariest part was that when he was around me, he created a sort of forcefield around me so that no one could hear me or see me. I was standing in the middle of the room, trying to talk to my friends but no one could hear me. I'm sure there was tons of symbolisim there but I've never even wanted to know. ohmy.gif that one really distrubed me though and it still does. I don't even like to think about it. sad.gif

coasterqueen replied: I won't go into details of bad dreams I had as a child because they still haunt me. It's weird, DH says I have psycho dreams and ones that still haunt me as a child still do to this day. And they are a lot of times about someone else, someone I don't even know or have even seen.

jen replied: I have nightmares all the time that something horrible happens to my twin sister. Like she gets in a car accident, gets murdered or is missing.....horrible horrible dreams ohmy.gif . I think it is because I am so over protective of her and also that she makes really bad decisions and is wild. I am always worrying about her sad.gif .

I just wish one day she wouldn't have a life and be a homebody and then maybe I could go out and have some fun and not worry!

mckayleesmom replied: When I was pregnant I had a dream that I gave birth to a rabbit and I couldn't figure out how to feed it cause I was breastfeeding and afraid my cute rabbit baby would bite off my nip.....lol

In high school I got a job at a burger place right next door to my house. One day we were really busy. When I got home and went to bed I had a dream about cheeseburgers and more cheeseburgers...I woke up and went to the bathroom and barfed my guts out. The next day I got home from school and my mom told me why I was sick..We had a gas leak in the house.

I had another dream about the burger place too. The first day I ever closed by myself I had a dream that the place caught on fire because I forgot to do something. I woke up panicked and it bugged me so much that I walked next door to check on the burger place. I had left the cheese burner on....so I turned it off and went back home to bed. That was wierd.

Elle replied: The worst dream I've ever had... Oh God, I can still remember it quite vividly!
Well, you know, when you are a mom for the first time you sometimes get paranoid about whether you're a good mommy or not... I was going through one of those "crisis" when Alexis was a baby, and one night I dreamed that she was sitting in the middle of a street, and that a car was about to hit her... And I wanted to run and grab her so badly but I couldn't move! It was desperating! I woke up all scared and hyperventilating, and I immediately ran to check my baby... I can't explain how relieved I was when I saw her sleeping peacefully in her crib. But the nightmare was so real, I still feel awful when I remember it... ohmy.gif

A&A'smommy replied:
thats horrible!!! That one would still bother me!!

beckamouse replied: when i was younger, i used to watch xena...or atleast the first couple of seasons because they got kinda...corny after a while.

anyway, i'm reading this book called "Hi my name is Mommy" and the girl keeps saying that mothers and moms to be are warriors, she keeps saying Mommy: warrior Princess a whole lot and the other night matt reffered to me as mommy warrior princess just completely at random.

last night i went to bed and had a dream i was dressed like Xena (only a little more of a modern/punk kinda xena) and someone had taken my baby. i sorta scared myself in the dream because i was all out fighting these people and these creatures just to get my baby back. i woke up before i did because it was just too weird.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I had this dream my senior year of highschool and I remember every detail to this day. It is smack dab full of symbolism and I literally sat up in bed at the end. Let me go into it.

I was in this department store it was like a Kmart or walmart something like that. Well at the back of this department store was this large dark room. It wasn't a normal dark room it had a kind of fuzzy quality to it. In the far corner of this room was a door leading to another room. In this room was a carousel. Now I love them. I even collect the horses. I would have gone in there and rode it if people weren't going into that room and screaming. It was this piercing scream like something really awful was happening to them. Well I got frantic and started to look for my parents. I couldn't find them and all the while screams were coming from that room. After a while the police showed up and turned the lights on. They started to escourt people out of the building. Something really horrible had happened in that room and I caught a glimpse of all that as I climbed into my car and drove away. This is the point when I woke up. I could still hear the screams and still can to this day.

Now the meaning. That fuzzy room had to be the future. That is always dark and unsure. The carousel repersented something I love. At the time I was going to be going to school for musical theatre. I was really afraid of my future and what would happen to me. Not finding my parents just told me that sometimes they wouldn't be able to rescue me and I would have to learn to do that myself. I have had some nightmares, but none have stayed with me like that one has.

3xsthefun replied: I had a dream few months ago

That I was trying to take care of Maegan she was crying and all and no one was with me. As I was trying to get her to stop the someone/thing knocked at the door and when I opened it there was some strange thing standing at the door with glowing evil green eyes. I hurried up and shut the door but it tried to get in so I had to stand in front of the door to keep it shut. The thing kept on pushing on the door trying to get in trying to get Maegan and me.

A&A'smommy replied:
WOW! tha one really had me thinking! ohmy.gif

A&A'smommy replied:
Freaky!

alice&arik replied: I have always had nightmares and walked and talked in my sleep. I have even tried to pick up a TV once while sleepwalking, I said I was taking it with me. But when I was little me and my siblings always watched this movie "The Day of the Trifids" it was a british film i think, foreign anyway, and about these plants that grew and pulled themselves out of the ground and chased people and killed them, well I always dreamed they were after me. And no one i know has ever heard of that movie...kinda dumb anyway and really old.

But when i was little i also had a reacurring dream, it was really weird and i would always wake up screaming. All I know was that there was this huge gate thing, like a castle has that lifts up and down, with bars...KWIM? And I would be standing on one side of this gate and it would be starting to close, but then this stuff would flood through. I can't hardly describe what it was, like a huge mass, not quite water, but just weird. And sometimes It would close and others it wouldn't, but that stuff would still get through
