Back from vacation

coasterqueen wrote: Hi everyone. I am back from a long vacation. Megan was sick with a terrible stomach virus for the 1st three days of our trip. It is NO fun whatsoever to be staying in a hotel with a pukey kid. The hotel was very glad to see us go. Then we went and stayed with relatives in Georgia and pretty much relaxed the rest of the time. On the way home from our road trip I got my stomach problems again so I was in severe pain all the way home. I ended up having Ryan take me to Urgent Care later that night when we got home. They gave me a shot in the bum to stop the stomach pain and gave me 3 different types of pills to pop until they figure this whole mess out again.

So it's good to be home. Not so good to be back at work. Good to be back here. I missed everyone!

Aimee, it wasn't a touch of virus for me. They think it was the Irritable Bowel Syndrome flairing up again. I'm not even sure what Megan had because she didn't have a fever, but she couldn't keep food down. We all in such tight quarters per se during this trip that if it was a virus I would have thought the rest of us definitely would have had it. Not sure, though.

Sorry about Megan, poor thing, I'm glad she is feeling better now and sorry about your "flare up" I knew a girl that IBS, we worked together pretty closely for over 2 years and that poor girl had some pretty bad days! I bet you were miserable, glad you're feeling a bit better now and I hope they figure it out soon.
