Back from ultrasound!

I am going to try and get my printer/scanner set up so I can show you guys the pic. My uterus looks funny. I don't know how to describe it but it looks like it is cut in half, 1 big black section with baby in it and then another big black empty section. I don't know what the other part is, maybe you guys can tell me when I get it on here.

alice&arik replied: I can't find the disc to my printer/scanner to reinstall it, so I took pics of the ultrasound pics. You can pretty much see baby. And the other black area I am wondering about.

I think it's probably just the way they had the machine focused. Of course, I could be wrong, but that's what I think

Sam & Abby's Mom replied: Is it your bladder ? I know whenever I had a vaginal ultrasound in the early weeks of pregnancy,,,,they said it was best if I had a full bladder because then the bladder would serve as the 'back drop' of the pic and the baby could be seen better.

Well, anyway -- CONGRATS on a healthy, moving, waving baby !

Why dont you call the Dr and ask?

BabyOwen427 replied: I think black areas are open space or air pockets, I know that's how it is on x-rays and I think they are similar in that way. Like an empty bladder or a large gas bubble in your intestine. Did you have a big fart after the u/s

I won't be able to until Monday, our clinic isn't open on the weekend.

When the lady was doing the ultrasound she typed in "Black" in that space. I'm sure if there is something wrong they are going to call.
