Back from the docs - u/s

I asked how good the u/s tech is with weight and the nurse said she is right on. It is my doctors own u/s tech that is in his office and he said she is good. So, with that being said and all my u/s showing the same growth rate throughout on a consistant level...they predict him to top out around 10 lbs. Thank God for c-sections!! He is doing great, but no u/s pictures to show because he is not only head down but he is facing my back in position already. So, we couldnt really see anything..he is just too big.

I feel like he is sitting in my throat, I am all baby and I have such baaaddd heartburn! I can hardly eat anything....but, I can deal with it for a little while more...UGH!

I am starting to get really cranky...I think my husband is scared, I find him in the corner shaking sometimes in the fetal position.

PrairieMom replied: 10 pounds!? that's 1/2 Alexis weight, and she is a year old!!! oh, you poor thing. I agree, thank goodness for c-sections.
Are you going to bring him home in 3-6 month clothes?

I'm not sure..my first son was 9.10 but he wore 0-3 months for 2 weeks. I am hoping that Jake can wear 0-3 for a little while because I bought some of the cutest clothes and of course have already washed them and threw out the tags. UGH! I even have little polo shirts that match his daddy's. I thankfully did not buy many newborn diapers, I have one opened pack and one closed pack that I can trade for size 1. I think this kiddo is going to walk out making his own bottle! LOL

indywndy_04 replied: ohhh I am starting to feel really crappy! BIG TIME! My contractions are getting stronger today but are not consistant, they are every 5 minutes, then 7 minutes, then 10 minutes...but I can hardly walk when I have them.

My boobs are starting to hurt really bad (again, just like at the beginning) UGH!

We have L&D tour tonight, then I have a u/s Tuesday, the doctor Wednesday and pre-op Friday. MAN - I AM SOO CLOSE!!

Here are my contractions today -

etc etc...they haven't stopped yet but I dont think I am in labor...they are just annoying. They started out as menstrul like cramps, then went around to my low back, now they are in my front up high and up high in my back. UGH!

They are tolerable...but it scares me because I have a really high pain tolerance. I mean, I had 3 kids naturally ... didn't even consider pain reliever.

When I was in labor before it always felt like it was not that big of a deal...but then all of a sudden I would have that strong over bearing urge to push when I didn't even think that I labored long enough, if that makes sense.

So - I always try to stay wide eyed about what I am feeling to see if it is real or not. With one of my kids, I didnt even get to the hospital until I was 9 1/2 cm because I didnt think it was all that bad and then I walked all the way down the long hallway and elevator to get there.

I will keep an eye on them and see how it gets, but I have been feeling like this since this afternoon. This morning I was really crabby and having the menstrul like cramps and low back cramps.

What do you guys think? Should I go home and rest and see if they keep it up? I am at work...getting ready to call it a day.

indywndy_04 replied: Ok, I will rest first and see how it goes. Then if they dont stop then I will call the doc. I dont really think I am...but then again I have felt really crappy pretty much all day.

Thanks girls!! I will let you all know! I usually try to write on here everyday, if you dont hear from me tomorrow, then I might have went in to have him!!! I dont have a call buddy....

indywndy_04 replied: Ok, update. I had contractions pretty much all night and they started to get closer together, a little stronger but nothing to get excited over. So I decided if I could get to sleep then if they were bad enough to wake me up we will call the doctor. I went to sleep around 11, was really uncomfortable all night and woke up feeling the same way today. UGH! I guess I am just going to do this for a while.... ???? I have no idea....but, none the less...I am at work and not having the baby right now.
