Back from the Ped

My poor baby. Thanks for all the get well wishes. She's sleeping now, I hope she feels better when she wakes up.

Ashley isn't drooling and doesn't have sores/spots any place else. But, she did complain about her mouth hurting. Did your ped perscribe anything different... or is just like any other virus and you have to let it run it's course?

CAMSMOM1 replied: I've had the same thing. For some reason when I get a sore throat, I can get bumps or sores in the back of my throat. The doctor wanted me to get my tonsils removed, but my Mom never did. It's just a virus that has to run it's course.

I know when I have that, all I want to do is drink water, because my throat is so sore. And all I could eat was super soft foods.

Did he say if her tonsils were inflammed? It could be tonsiliitus?

I hope she feels better too. It's good that she's resting.

Colt had this too, minus the drooling. It was done and gone in about 5 days. Hope she feels better soon!
