Baby's first xmas ornamant...

The mall has some cute ones that they personalize. Michaels and Hobby Lobby also have a lot that you can paint or just do the writing yourself. I am kind of hoping someone else buys him one so I can stop looking.

Cece00 replied: Well, we did 2 ornaments for each kid the yr they were born. One was engraved, they are metal, it says the year and "Baby's First Christmas" and has their name engraved. The 2nd one is usually just a cute one I liked and I write their names on the ornament somewhere on the back.

The metal ones I had done @ an engravers shop and the others I just bought wherever. My mom ordered one online this yr (an engraved one...) and I bought one at a baby boutique.

I tried both malls (I think I remember us being from the same city) and I just didn't see any I "loved". But I never even though of Michaels or Hobby Lobby I'll have to try them. Or like you said maybe someone else will give him one.

kit_kats_mom replied: I upload my favorite picture of each girl to snapfish.com and get the procelin ornament each year. We will have a sort of "how much youve grown" decorating party in a few years.

coasterqueen replied: Both girls got a Hallmark one. They were little books that said Baby's 1st Christmas and you could keep a small picture and details of their 1st Christmas. Megan's was a bit fancier than Kylie's just because that's how they were that particular year.

redplaydoh replied: My sister started giving Hallmark ornaments for both the boys. Lucas gets the bear and Bryan the dog series. There is one ornament you buy in the series each year until they're 5.

J-rod replied: walmart has these gold looking ones...and they engrave for free.... stephanie and i each have one from when we were a kid so we got him one too.


also we got him one from the disney store, its pooh

and a family member got us one that has a place on the back for his name, date, weight, length.
