Baby Got A BummmmmBo!

Crystalina wrote: Wow! They never had these things when Izabella or Evan were babies. This thing is so great and she just loves it! biggrin.gif

How long can she use this? She's not even 4 mos. old and her legs are kind of big in it. I don't want it to squish her thighs. rolleyes.gif

This seat is WONDERFUL!

MommyToAshley replied: AWEEEE!!! HOW CUTE!

AlexsPajamaMama replied: wub.gif She's one pretty baby!
And I want a bumbo seat for Logan! I have a little bit of time still though.

my2monkeyboys replied: That looks like Waylon-- I have to get his legs out first when I take him out or when I pick him up it brings the seat with it! She is SO cute!!!

ZandersMama replied: i love love love the bumbo! she looks so happy in it smile.gif as for how long you can use them i have no idea. zav is still so tiny he could probably still use it, but i stopped when he could sit up on his own, and passed it on to another preemie baby

Crystalina replied:
That was so nice of you. hug.gif

lisar replied: I see them and I wish they had them when mine were born

She is just beautiful

MoonMama replied: Awww she is SOOO cute!!!! love2.gif love2.gif

As far as how long you can use it, my ped said once baby is getting to the age of sitting up on their own, it needs to go bye-bye. However we never had one because my ped doesn't recommend them.

Brias3 replied: You've got some gorgeous kids! Gabriella is a doll in that new seat of hers!

I totally need to get one of these for the baby- I feel like they have so much more neat stuff out, even since Mase was little!

Crystalina replied:
I really wondered about it as well. Especially since she's so young. I thought her own weight may be too much for her back but it says on the box Endorsed by Paediatric and Orthopaedic Faculties.

They also have a Bumbo toilet trainer and a "ball" to help them learn to crawl. I've never seen any of those in the stores but I'm going to look into them.

They must not make pink though. We had to get the purple but even on the box they don't show a pink one.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: I loved the Bumbo! Allie sat in it all the time. Andrew did too, even though we didn't get one until we had Allie. tongue.gif

They do make pink, but I don't think I've ever seen a pink one in a store. They always have purple and green. We got a yellow one on Ebay. They had pink too - I wanted to get one but we're planning on having more kids and it didn't seem prudent. tongue.gif

MoonMama replied:
I know and I almost got Brae one anyway, I think its probably just my peds opinion. dunno.gif But I think eh no harm done either way to be honest. rolling_smile.gif

Crystalina replied: Now, can you get a tray for it or do you have to buy a whole other chair with the tray already attached? huh.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied:
I got a tray separate at Target for $10. It was kind of hard to get it to stay on sometimes, but it was handy sometimes anyways. wink.gif

MommyToAshley replied: I don't think they had them when Ashley was around that age. But, she was such a chunky monkey, I don't think she would have fit in it.

A&A'smommy replied: Autumn stayed in hers until her butt started getting stuck in it emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif I think she was about 6 months old (but by then she could sit on her own)

Calimama replied: Miabella can still sit in her's. rolling_smile.gif I loved that thing.

You make such gorgeous kids!!

Danalana replied: She's beautiful! As far as her thighs...they should begin to thin out at some point, and you can use the Bumbo as long as she can't get out of it on her own. Even after Kade could sit on his own, I would use it ever once in a while to feed him at someone else's house or as a temporary babysitter when I had to get something done. I agree, the bumbo is wonderful!
