Baby Girl Names - what do you think?
Mommy2Isabella wrote: Sal HATES Pearla ... LOL
I love it, for some reason Miley Gabriella is STRONG in my book though
My3LilMonkeys replied: How is the third one pronounced? Gee-aah-duh is my guess, but I don't think I've ever seen it before so I'm not sure.
And is Guilia the same as Julia, or is it pronounced differently?
I feel so dumb sometimes.
Mommy2Isabella replied: you are correct on both names ... LOL
Calimama replied: Giada is Jade in Italian? and Guila is Julius.. well Julia? I like.. Gabriella but I'm not really a fan of the rest. Sorry.
Brias3 replied: To be honest, I'm not big on any of them but Gabriella. Miley is ok, but NMS. I think Gabriella goes well with Isabella!
A&A'smommy replied: The only one I like is miley but I LOVE that name mostly because I had a miley last year in my 3yr old dance class, precious child BEAUTIFUL child!!
PrairieMom replied: sorry, I'm just not a fan of any of them.
Cece00 replied: I dont like any of them, with the exception of Julia, but spelled with a J.
lovemy2 replied: Sorry but I don't really like any of those
I like Gabriela but as a first name....
gr33n3y3z replied: I really dont like made up names But I like the name Miley if I had to choose one with something held to my head LOL
Mommy2Isabella replied: LOL!!!
We want to do italian names ... but who knows, I really like Miley and I LOVED pearla ... lol but everyone else hated it.
I think it is going to be a lot harder to name the twins than it was to name bella!
MyBabeMaddie replied: I like Giada, thats neat
luvbug00 replied: love miley !!!
the other one ehhh it's ok. but the Gulia I'm sorry it makes me think of the weeding singer movie "julia Gulia" I'm sorry it's just jokes and teasing were my main concern when i thought of names that's why i bring that up. It's a nadia thing..
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Well.............My niece's name is Giulia. Pronounced Julia but it's how you spell it in Italian. Her father's side is all Italian and it completely fits with her last name. I absolutely love it so that was my vote!
If you want Italian names for girls, my three nieces are Giulia, Sofia and Antonia (they call her Toni).
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Here's some more ideas from my sister's family:
Antonella Antonetta Analiza Daniella (which is one of my favorites) Francesca Roberta
lovemy2 replied: Oh - like all of those except Antonella - the rest are beautiful and very strong italian names....
I am from a very italian family - hard to believe with the blonde hair and blue eyes but for a boy I would have loved Samuel Anthony - but DH being not so italian thought it was "too italian" Samuel was my grandfather and Anthony was my uncle - both now deceased so I would have loved to honor them but....oh well - my Dylan Edward fits him fine
Mommy2Isabella replied: Well ... ALLL of the names I posted are OUT!
LOL Sal only kind of likes Miley ... but my mother said she would DIE ... LOL!! She also said Gabriella is too close to Bella and I agree with that!
BLAH!!
For a boy we have Michael Giovanni we have an itallian last name so a white girl name doesn't really fit, like my name Jessica ... doesn't fit with my married last name! LOL ...
Danalana replied: I really like the name Miley. And Giulia is pretty too. I think I like Miley because I had picked Milo as a boy name before we were ever pregnant. Richard doesn't like it, though
julesmom replied: How about Giovanna? Sounds like Geo-vonna.
I know a little Italian girl with this name. It's cute.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: I had an Italian coworker when I worked in the government, her name was Ornella. Her sister's name was Oceana (oh-say-anna) I love that name.
