Baby Aiden's Story and Pics

ANYWAYS...Well, what can I say? I never made it to dinner after my appointment on Monday. The doc sent me right to the hospital because they hooked me up to a non-stress test and she wasn't getting the results she had hoped for. Nothing was wrong, but the placenta was getting old and she wanted to get him out of there.
Anyways...I got to the hospital around 6pm. They broke my water and let me go naturally for awhile. Of course, he was stubborn and they had to hook me up to pitocin because I wasn't going as fast as they hoped. They started with the pitocin about 9pm and I got hooked up to my epidural about 10:30 or so.
The epidural was wonderful...except when it stopped working right before I started pushing!!! Arg!!! Holy cow the pain. I pushed for about an hour and a half and then he finally just burst on through.
He weighed............9 pounds 12 ounces!!! Born at 5:21 am on April 17th. Full head of dark brown hair. Here are some pics.
