BEST DIAPER RASH OINTMENT? - WHICH ONE?
shelbysmom wrote: Shelby has a small diaper rash, not enough to bother her. Which ointment is the best to use? Thanks!!!!!!!!
My3LilMonkeys replied: We use Balmex, and it works wonders.
I have also heard good thing about Boudreaux's Butt Paste.
ediep replied: I think the best is desitin, the regular one, not the creamy
my2monkeyboys replied: I think most have the same basic ingredients... I got just as good of results with the store brand as with desitin or Johnson's.
Ashlynn's Mommy replied: I use nursery jelly. It works great. I put a little in her diaper everytime I change her to prevent irritation, and rashes.

I love it.... and everyone that I have gotten to try it has stuck with it....

Its made here (or was originally, I think it still is) in Louisiana, so we had it before the rest of the US and I LOVE it.
I've had 3 kids & it is ALL I will use, and I've tried lots of different kinds.
Look for it @ Walmart.
Kaitlin'smom replied: for the few times Kait had one I used the A&D ointment. always cleared her up in a day. It worked well so I never tired anything else.
boyohboyohboy replied: I use triple paste, you get it at the pharmacy counter, its a little pricey, but it clears almost everything up in a day or so....
~Roo'sMama~ replied: My favorite is Aveeno baby diaper rash cream... it works well and it's unscented which seems like a good idea to me. I've used butt paste and it worked pretty good but I like Aveeno better.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: We use Desitin.
luvmykids replied: Our pharmacist has his own concoction, it's called butt past but different than anything I've tried from the store. For just a mild rash I think anything you use will help but if you ever have a bad case try the pharmacist.
