BAD morning!!!
coasterqueen wrote: It was a very BAD morning this morning. It actually started off well, everyone in a good mood..well until Megan became Miss Fussypants at about 7:15 a.m. but that wasn't the bad part. The girls and I are finishing getting ready and a bit behind (no big deal) and this was at about 7:40. All of a sudden I get a phone call from the alarm company telling me the police have been dispatched to my office. I was like UM, ok, Kylie get your shoes, coat, and hat, on and then I rushed Megan into her carseat, rushed Kylie out the door (probably scaring her half to death). We got in the van, called Ryan and asked him to head down to my office to see what was up and I tried SEVERAL times to get my boss on the phone with no avail. I started heading towards downtown to my office when my boss called, I told him Ryan was on his way and he said he was too. So I detoured to the babysitters to drop off the girls, running in, dropping them off, not even getting to say goodbye or give kisses, nothing. I finally get to work and Ryan and my boss (who was in his pj's literally ) had searched the office, the police searched..no sign of forced entry and no one there. SO I called the alarm company and they said someone set off the back door sensor, which means someone had to come in with a key and not know or use the code. We still don't know what happened but now I'm sitting here at work wishing I could hug my babies and I'm not even completely dressed. Forgot my jewelry, my hair is back in a pony tail because I didn't have time to finish it, no smelly perfume on, nothing. ACK! I hope this day gets better.
C&K*s Mommie replied: 's. All of the days troubles will vanish when you see your babies again. Can you call to tell them you love, them and miss them while they are at the sitters??
coasterqueen replied: I did call to make sure they were ok with me rushing out and the sitter said they were. I was afraid to talk to Kylie in case she started balling begging me to come home.
MamaJAM replied: Sorry you had a crazy start to your day. Glad you got to check on your girls....sorry you didn't get your cuddles in though.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Hope your day gets better!! Is the sun shining in southern IL. It is finally shining here and suppose to be a high of 55!!
coasterqueen replied: Southern IL...you Chicago-an's. J/K.
I had to rush in the office so fast I'm not sure what it's doing out there. I know it was bright so I'd gather the sun is out, but that's all I know for now. I hear it's supposed to be pretty warm (for this time of year) today, but unfortunately won't get to enjoy it.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I am actually not a chicago-an I live 65 miles South of Chicago. Not sure how far I am from you maybe an hour or two. Well maybe you can take a sneak outside at lunchtime and enjoy a little bit of this nice weather!!!
C&K*s Mommie replied: what kind of office do you work in, and has anyone figured out what or who could have set the alarm off?? It still is kind of early, I know, but I was just curious to know if they are any thoughts.
coasterqueen replied: Sorry. So are you in the suburbs, I can't remember. You are about 2 hours from me. I just always find it hilarious that those who live in Chicago and the burbs think anything past I80 (I think that's the highway, can't remember though) thinks the rest of IL is Southern.
I will get to get out at lunch to go to the allergist office so hopefully it will be warmer then.
coasterqueen replied: We are located right by the capital and there are tons of bars around this area too because of all the lobbyists and political people who drink in the evenings. So when they aren't in session we get a lot of "trash" in this area as well. We were broken in and our computers stolen when I was very pregnant with Kylie. It was a MESS. We haven't figured out who tried to get in, let's just hope they don't come back. We do keep our office locked though because we work in the insurance industry so we get a lot of angry people just browsing by to let us know how angry they are.
booey2 replied: Sorry you had such a bad start to your day. Just think it can only get better.
Kaitlin'smom replied: what a ruff start, hope yoru day gets better. Once you get to hug your babies all will feel better. wanna go have a drink with me
luvmykids replied: When my day starts like that I always feel rushed and weird the rest of the day. Hope it passes quickly for you!
fashionmumofboys replied: Sorry, about that rough start morning you had and not being able to hug your girls.
I hope the rest of the day will be much better.
