At the zoo, today.

C&K*s Mommie wrote: Holley our girls Annika and Kellie, and I went to the local zoo today. Annika is simply a doll!!!! She is a happy, smiley, always pleasant baby. She was a great joy to be around! She is so cute in the pics, and even cuter in person with a personality to match! . Holley is beautiful inside and out, as well. It comes through her posts that she has a great personality, so I can be witness to say that she is as real as they come. Beautiful through and through. Although the heat was something I did not consider when it was planned, I think we had a nice time. I wore jeans, and it was not until we went to get on the train that I realized that was a bad thing. Anyhow, it was very nice to meet up with them.

Since Christian is in Disney World with my mother, I let my mother use our digital camera, so I got some a few pics with the cell phone.

Holley may have some better shots , but here is what I got :

This mama orangutan came to the window to "show off" her baby. It was the cutest display of a proud mammal mama, showing off her baby. The baby is in the center of the pic (hard to see)


another shot-- Momma and baby. The daddy was lounging by another window by us, and another was sitting in a window on the sill of another window on the other side of the exhibit.


I got these two to mess with Chris. He is terrified of snakes.

C&K*s Mommie replied: Oh and we went to eat lunch afterwards, and Holley was giving Annika a sample of something. Kel saw that Annika needed a napkin, so she grabbed one and said "here baby Anna". Holley thanked her for it, and proceeded to give Annika another sample. Kel again saw that Annika might need a napkin, so again she grabbed one and offered it to Annika. I saw that there was condensation from Kel's drink on the table, so without thinking I took the napkin from Kel and wiped the table. Kellie barked at me with "No! baby Anna!" , and grabbed yet another to offer to Annika. I thought it was too cute, not to share that.

Annika and I had a wonderful time with Nicole and Kelly. Nicole is just sweet as can be. (We have to get together sometime and let the dads keep the girls. ) Kelly is such a sweet child. She was so considerate of Annika. She is also very polite with her please and thank yous. Her mommy and her are both beautiful people. Nicole is just an all around beautiful person. I can't wait to be able to get together again with her.

I do have a few pictures from our zoo trip. I will post them when I get home.

The Orangatang Mommy was just too cute. She was just so proud of her little bundle of joy.
