Ashley is teething again. :(

MommyToAshley wrote: Poor baby, she has such a hard time teething. She didn't get to sleep until midnight. She is never fussy, so I know that they are really bothering her. I tried everything on her gums. sad.gif I can feel the sharp edges, I hope they cut through soon! I just hate to see her suffer. bawling.gif

jdkjd replied: Bailey's right there with her. I can feel one of her top teeth through the gums and I think the one next to it is trying to come in at the same time. She has been screaming bloody murder for the past week when she wakes up at night. I just hope all of this passes soon. blink.gif

A big hug to Ashley (and Mommy!)

MommyToAshley replied: Big hug right back at you and Bailey! I guess we will get through this together!!

Easy teething vibes to both our babes!

Roxworld replied: Geez....big hugs to both of you!!! Aidan isn't quite there yet....but I am already anticipating it. What do you do for them when they wake up in the middle of the night like that....screaming? Give them something (cold) to chew on? Give them meds? What??? I'm looking for all the advice I can get!!! huh.gif

MommyToAshley replied: I try to give her something cold to chew on before she goes to bed. I don't like to use meds unless I have to, but if she wakes up in the middle of the night screaming from it, then I use the baby orajel first and then if that still doesn't help, I use tylenol. I have yet to been able to find the teething tabs that everyone raves about. sad.gif

supermom replied: Here's a big hug to Bailey and Ashley - poor babes!! I feel for them both, and also for their mommies! Hope they both get thru it soon and you guys can get back to getting some sleep and comfort!

kit_kats_mom replied:
I did a google search for "Hylands teething tabs" and found them online. They also make an herbal version of orajel. Katherine still has no teeth or any signs but I have the pills when they do decide to make an apperance. Hugs to all of the mommies & babies who are teething.

jdkjd replied: Well, one tooth up top has made it's appearance. Ryan thinks it looks orange but I think that's just from the sweet potatoes. I was going to get out her baby toothbrush and let her chew on it...

She's still way fussy. I bet that tooth right next to it will be here this week. Fun. wacko.gif

MommyToAshley replied: Congrats on the first tooth! Hopefully, the other one won't take too long!

Thanks! Maybe I will have to order them online.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Poor little Monkey....Zach's teeething again too....the 2 on top and the 2 next ones on the bottom...

I find that he chews a lot on cloth. He likes chewing on my shirt, and on his own, and he'll take off his socks and start chewing them before I can take them away. But he won't take a wet cloth...

dunno.gif

maestra replied: Jaci is getting three in on top at the same time! Poor girl hasn't been herself for about two weeks, and I couldn't figure out why. Figured I was just a failure or something sad.gif I was glad to see that it was just new teeth coming in.

She really likes to chew on velcro- for some reason. I haven't heard of hylands. What do they do?

Kaitlin'smom replied: awww hugs to all teething babies! Hope they all feel better soon!

MommyToAshley replied:
Awee...hugs to Jaci and Zach too! Ashley likes to chew on cloth and her high chair straps... I am forever cleaning them!

The hylands teething tabs are suppose to dissolve under their tongue and they are suppose to be better than tylenol because the hyland teething tabs specifically target the type of pain associated with teething. I have yet to try them but everyone says they are great. I am going to look one more place local for them, and if I can't find them, I am going to order them online.
