Arm, leg, first born- - what does it take to fill 'er up?

Around these prices now, $2.60-$2.70, it would take about $40-$45 to fill the tank. I put $30 in yesterday and got 3/4 of a tank, and that was from being nearly bone dry out of petrol. (it is a bad habit to avoid gas stations, until absolutely neccessary)

A&A'smommy replied: it is 2.89 and most gas stations around here (except in the bigger towns that are usually more expensive it was 2.59 in prattville al. ) and where we buy gas its been going back and forth between 2.79 and 2.82 anyway its takes about 40 dollars to fill our 13 or 14 gallion tank

TheOaf66 replied: well the last time I filled it completely it was still $3.15 and it cost $49 and change to fill those Hybrid cars are looking better and better, when are we going to get the "Mr Fusion" like in Back to the Future where it runs on garbage

Our Lil' Family replied: Ugh, $60 to fill my TrailBlazer, but it does last a good while because I don't go far.

my best friend drives a neon she always fills up when she gets down to a quarter of a tank.. 20bucks even I want a neon.. too bad they aren't making them anymore

JP&KJMOM replied: I have paid as much as $76 to fill up my Tahoe. I hate being with Jason though when he fills up his pickup cause his can be as much as $90 to $100. Makes me sick.

punkeemunkee'smom replied: Filled the red beast up on Sunday-it took $65 and I have been to dance and back (12 miles each way) and to Tan today (10 miles each way) and I am already below 3/4 of a tank...I guess it is a good thing I look so cool driving it cuz it sure like to drink gas!

redchief replied: It costs about 50.00 to fill my gas guzzler. Unfortunately first born will only fill the tank a few times, and I don't have that many chldren to spare.

In the truck. lord it never gets filled up!~ And that second tank prob has rust in it.. I bet it's real thirsty!

coasterqueen replied: Around $55.00 and that's if I still have some in there, a bit less than a 1/4 of a tank. That is for my minivan. Dh drives my old neon, I know it takes less for sure.

Gas is currently at $2.65 here and when it took $55 that was at about $3.10 a gallon.

Kaitlin'smom replied: the highest I ever paied was 2.99 a gallon (uses some cents off) and If was totaly empty it would take about $75 right now. I usually have to put about 20 gallons in when I fill up, dont liek going down to the light case then only 2 gallons are left (its holds 25) last time it was under 50 to fill it up, that was sunday night and I have used about less than 1/2 so far, I think I will have about 1/2 tank left when we head to FL, so I will come home to that
