Are you taking your kids - Trick or Treating??
mckayleesmom wrote: Heck yes we are......Not everyday we get free candy...
Simplebeliever replied: Abby is a little on the young side for trick or treating, but we're still going. We're tagging along w/ one of my friends and her children. Even though Abby may not wind up with any candy, I think she'll still have a good time.
mom2my2cuties replied: It is still up in the air around here. Although, I forgot a part of Andy's costume today at a lady's house. (BIG DORK MOMENT!)
1lilpeanut2love replied: Of course yes! I am SO excited. This will be her 2nd Halloween. We took her last year when she was just 6 months old and she got tons of candy. I can't wait! I hope she has tons of fun and gets lots of candy that she won't really even eat except lollipops or the like!! It's going to be super cold here, but hopefully she'll stay warm.
CantWait replied: I'm not, but dh is
I get to stay home for once and let dh have the pleasure of taking the kids canvassing for goodies, while I stay home and shell out and watch Dancing with the Stars. This will be the second time, and the first time it was a shared responsibilitry.
Donna027 replied: Lucas is going with some friends and one of their moms. I havent been feeling well lately so Im staying home to pass out candy
Boo&BugsMom replied: You betcha. It's just a day where kids get to play dress up and get free candy and chocolate. No different than playing dress up any other day of the year. We are also going to make chili for dinner with a couple friends coming over and hopefully (as long as it's not raining) making a fire in our fire pit while we hand out candy to the T or T'ers!
luvbug00 replied: yeah
holley79 replied: We are tagging along with the neighbors kids. Annika's a little on the young side for us to just go at it alone. I mean come on the candy givers will know the candy is for me. LOL
ediep replied: yup!
Jamison'smama replied: Yes..it is a HUGE deal in our neighborhood. Everyone sits on the driveway, some with fire pits and lit jack-o-lanterns and we get HUNDREDS of kids. People drop their kids off in our neighborhood from all over the area.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Yes, I plan to take them to my college for the trick or treating, since they are having a time before night classes for kids to come by. Then I have class to attend, and then my mother will take them to one of the fall festivals.
coasterqueen replied: Yes. We live out in the country so we don't get trick or treaters and it's too much a pain to drive to every house out there and go up the long drives and knock on homes, so we take the kids to FIL's neighborhood. Then after that we'll go around to a few family homes and call it a night. Dh is excited about going because he didn't get to go last year. It's always fun to see their reactions when they go to people's homes.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Andrew's kind of young to do it this year, so we're just going to the Harvest party our church is having. We'll dress him up and they'll have candy there, but he probably won't play any of the games or anything.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Yep!! We will go around my small town. Last year we got rained out, so she didn't get any candy.
Kaitlin'smom replied: yep we plan to. Not sure which of us will actually take her out. The plan is for them to pass out candy till I get home, then I will dress her and she will go out with one of us. I hope its not raining.
J-rod replied: our town has a parade for the kids then trick or treeting....we are taking kyan.
mom21kid2dogs replied: Stephen usually takes Olivia (ours was yesterday afternoon). They do a little parade thing where all the kids go walk through in their costumes, then 3 hours of trick or treat. I stayed home and handed out 500 pieces of candy. Because the weather was beautiful, we ran out in less than an hour!
My2Beauties replied: Oh yea of course!!!
flirtycuddle replied: We took Jackie last yr when she was 8 months old and she got a ton of candy lol. Everyone thought it was so cute to see her in her lil witch costume. This yr we are taking Jackie as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader lol and Will we are not dressing up since he is only 3 months and will be in the stroller the whole time
