Are you a coupon cutter?

Anyone else a coupon-cutter?
C&K*s Mommie replied: If I do clip them, I seldom remember to use them.
Although the other day at Chuck E. Cheese's I saved $2.50, and got 80 tokens for $10 ~~
So if it is a significants savings on something I use often, then I try to find coupons and try to remember to use them. But most things I tend to forget, even if it is my purse while @ the store.
luvmykids replied: I'm an avid coupon clipper. Coupon user, not so much.
Lynda836 replied: Avid collector....and then i forget to bring them to the grocery store
MommyToAshley replied:
If I make the time to clip them, then I use them. The problem is that I usually run to the store in a hurry to pick up a few things (thinking that I will clip my coupons later and do most the shopping then) but end up buying a lot anyways. I did good the other day though, I clipped them right before I left and I ended up saving $65 on a $180 grocery bill. Well-worth it, but just so time consuming.
coasterqueen replied: Wow, what kind of coupons do you get? I've never found good coupons to get that good of a savings.
I used to clip them, but never found enough to really make the difference and always would forget them in my pocket when it was time to check out.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Yes I am a coupon clipper and user!!
BAC'sMom replied: Nope! I don't have that kind of time.
Kaitlin'smom replied: I was for a very long time and got away from it and I am now back at it. I need to save anything I can. It is time consuming but worth it. Kait likes to hold them for me when we go and she always remembers to hand them over or remind me to
Boo&BugsMom replied: Ditto!!! I cut them, store them in a box, then forget to pull them out before we go shopping. Then, when I do remember, I go through them to find most of them expired anyway.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: I am a big coupon cutter!!! Pull Ups coupons are always in our Sunday newspaper and I have a ton of them, they are usually $1.50 or $2 off! That makes them the same price as walmart brand pull ups!
The night before grocery day I go through my coupons and clip them to my list if its something I need to get....like dish soap, shout stain remover, pull ups etc.
mom21kid2dogs replied: Cutter and user. I love double coupon weeks!!! It's so much fun!
PrairieMom replied: I used to be a clipper and a user, but I found that a lot of times the store brands are usually cheaper even after the savings on a name brand item. I do use them on the things that I refuse to buy generics of.
CantWait replied: If I see something I like, I sure do. However I don't go out of my way to a store I don't normally do just to use a coupon unless I got a few. I figure it's not worth the gas I'd be spending, especially the way prices are right now.
