Are YOU dressing up for Halloween?

MommyToAshley wrote: If so what?

We were invited to a Halloween party, but I don't think we are going to be able to go, so I don't think we are dressing up this year. smile.gif

mckayleesmom replied: No not this year...the next day i get to dress up like Im going to Prom though....geee prom again.

A&A'smommy replied: i want to but i dont see it happening this year...next year both baby and i are dressing up lol

MommyToAshley replied:
What's the occasion?

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I think I am going as a pumpkin. My mom has the costume and I thought it would be fun for pictures! LOL! laugh.gif A pregnant pumpkin!! rolling_smile.gif

DansMom replied: We are supposed to dress up at work this year. I do have a ladybug outfit someone gave me. If I determine that it's not too sexy (I am a boss---that would be totally inappropriate) I'll wear it. Otherwise I'll just do the old "Orange and Black" theme with normal clothing. I have a pumpkin pin somewhere.

MommyToAshley replied:
LOL! That's funny! I bet you will look cute!

Your whole family could dress as pumpkins and you could go as a pumpkin patch! LOL rolling_smile.gif Ok, Ok, I think I need to eat something besides a kit kat candy bar because I think I have a sugar buzz going. biggrin.gif

ediep replied: I am going to be ketchup, and Dh is going to be mustard. I don't usually dress up, but we are going to a halloween party.

mckayleesmom replied:
Husbands Annual Training Conference for the Army...They have like a Ball and dancing and they give the men their awards and stuff.

amynicole21 replied: We're going to a party, adn DH and I are thinking of dressing up like salt and pepper shakers... but being silly by me (Caucasion) dressing like pepper and dh (African American) dressing like salt... still haven't exactly figured out how to make a salt shaker costume yet wacko.gif

MommyToAshley replied: Everyone take pictures!!! I want to see!!!!!!!

coasterqueen replied: Well, we usually go to costume parties, but we are party poopers and don't usually dress up. This year the party we are going states its MANDATORY we have a costume. I think they personally put that on our invitation because they know how we are. biggrin.gif Since I really want to go, we are wearing costumes.

I am going as a "sexy" witch, at least that's what Dh is calling my outfit. emlaugh.gif He is going as a Knight.

I wanted to do a couples outfit, but he's (again) being a party pooper and doesn't want to. Pooey on him. rolling_smile.gif

Heather replied: We got invited to a party, but we aren't going. DH got volunteered to work mischief night and halloween night(the town he works gets into a lot of trouble, so they need extra guys to work the streets) so we won't be going sad.gif So, I have decided to take Alison trick or treating..not sure if I will dress up though. Hope you all take pics!!!

dolfinrse replied: Dh and I threw around the idea of dressing up like each other, but we haven't decided completely yet.

A&A'smommy replied:
awww i bet that is going to be cute make sure to get pictures!! i would love to see biggrin.gif

kit_kats_mom replied:
If you think that one is too sexy, I saw a great costume a few years ago. One of my female bosses wore a suit with a mans tie. She had inserted a hangar so the tie was sticking up by her ear. When asked what she was....she put both of her hands up, wiggled her fingers, got a scared look on her face and said "I'm Faaaaaaaallllllllliiiiiinnnnnnnnggggggg" LOL Cracked me up. If you had short hair you could spike that up to add to the effect.

We were going to dress up but DH is being a party pooper and I havent' finished my costume yet so we probably won't

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I'm going to dress up for Halloween along with a bunch of my firends here. We are going to take the kids trick or treating and then we are probably going to go out to Rumors. My costume came from Hot Topic. I will be wearing a long burgandy medevil dress and black wings. We will be taking pictures so I will post one eventually.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I used to dress up really awesome for Halloween....but I haven't got a clue what to wear this year.

2 years ago, I went as a playboy bunny. (I was young, thin and stupid...) I had on a black thong, some fishnet stockings, a black mesh teddy with a crotch and support bra. It had a couple fake diamond studs on the straps. Then I had on 6 inch black chunk heels, a little bunny tail stuck to the top of my thong, a white velcro strip around my neck with a white bowtie, and some bunny ears. I had one of those clip on ponytails, blond and curly - my hair was dyed blond then, so it looked like my hair anyways... and I had the gaudy makeup.

Did I mention I won first prize at the Bar we went to? lol

last year, I went as a fat Britney Spears. It was pretty funny.... everyone had a good laugh. rolleyes.gif

This year...I have no clue. What with being 32 weeks pregnant, it's hard to find a costume where people will have a hard time recognizing me....

Although I'm not that big for a 32 weeker.... I look more like I'm 5 or 6 months pg.

Any ideas?

I was thinking a snowman...or maybe a snake who's swallowed something.... lol

Kaitlin'smom replied: nope not this year... last year when I was pg I had not clue what to do since we went to a halloewwn party so I just wore the nice outfit I had bought for a wedding and got a sash and some letters, got my old crown out, long slik cape and went as Mrs. Pregnant Ohio laugh.gif its all I could think of!

jdkjd replied: When I was pregnant the first time, I was about 5 months in Oct and wanted to dress up as white trash. I was going to wear a cut off airbrushed t-shirt and draw tattoos on my belly with low cut off jean shorts and cowboy boots (with a mullet of course).

If I was more motivated I would do it this year but it would look better if I was closer to 8 or 9 months. With Panama City Beach so close (Airbrush Capital of the World), I was going to get a really bad t-shirt with "Momma Luvs Bubba" or "Bubba Junior" with a downward pointing arrow.

So if anyone preggers wants to steal my idea-go for it. I'm sure that every part of the country has their version of white trash but it seems the south (around here) has some really funny examples of what not to do dress-wise. tongue.gif
