Apparently I've started doing things in my sleep

5littleladies wrote: A couple of weeks ago Jas says I woke him up in the middle of the night-I was kneeling over him and shaking him and I said "I found you!! I found you!!". Then I laid down and went back to sleep. He says he was terrified. tongue.gif I have no memory of this. Then last week I apparently got up in the middle of the night and turned the light on and then got back in bed. Then I guess Jas told me I had turned it on so I got up and turned it back off. I have no memory of this either. He also says I've started talking in my sleep. I'm so embarassed! He tells everyone-he thinks it's hilarious (Ok I think it's funny too, in a humiliating sort of way). Does anyone else do anything like this? How can I stop myself?? rolleyes.gif

A&A'smommy replied: I talked REALLY bad in my sleep when I first got pregnant it started before I really knew I quit doing it in my second trimester um try keeping cool that helped me a little bit. wink.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Lol... don't stop Jen, it's way to entertaining! rolling_smile.gif Life just wouldn't be the same without a story of what crazy thing you've done in your sleep thrown in every few days! tongue.gif
Hee hee sorry, it just really is funny! laugh.gif

cdefmomma replied: When me and my hubby moved intogether we were just dating then we had just got back together. While we were broken up he had slept w/ a few people( we were teenagers and I was preg. w/ son #2) well appaerntly even though we had been planning our wedding and doing great I still had some anger towards him for sleeping w/ other girls and and leaving me and the babies. Well anyway I still had some issues I guess because I litterally in my sleep would start beating the sh*t out of him. I would get on top of him and punch him so hard it would leave marks. I am not kidding either. He would then sream to wake me up or I would just stop roll over and sleep. He told me for weeks that I did this but I didn't remember any of it so I didn't beleive him. Until he would start waking up w/ bruises all over and then he figured out how to wake me up after I started doing it . I felt terrible. The weird thing is as soon as we got married I stopped and I haven't done it since.

I have talked to a few people about it and they said that if you are overly stressed or feel uneasy about the situation you are in it can cause you to act out in your sleep. Not nessesarly beat the sh*t out of you hubby but do things like talk and walk around. But sleep walking and talking all run in my family so that could also play a factor in what I went through.

HTH!!!

MomToMany replied: rolling_smile.gif LOL!!! Too funny Jennifer!!! DH said I did talk in my sleep on occasion while PG. He wouldn't tell me what I said though rolleyes.gif .

mummy2girls replied: LOL!!!!!!!!! Thats so funny!

loveydad replied: I just found out I talk in my sleep lol. When I'm upset I talk the most. Last night I was apparently muttering something about returning baby lotion or something really weird.

Josie83 replied: I do all sorts of weird things in my sleep, mainly to Jason, some of which cannot be mentioned in polite company! (Ha, save it for the p&i board). I have always talked and laughed in my sleep which Jason found pretty weird when we first started going out. I don't think there is anything you can do about it! xx
