I like the british version, Changing Rooms, better. (On BBC america) But I'm an anglophile. I like lawrence's rooms on that show. very classy.

And I LOVE Ground Force. They're coming to America!!! Somebody sign me up please!!! My backyard is a disaster!

Maybe Genevieve, but I can't stand hilde or Lori cause when someone tells them something the other couple wouldn't like done to their house, they don't care and they do it anyways. Oh yeah! did anyone watch the episode where the lady cried cause her walls were painted brown? That lady needed to be slapped in my opinion, she was way to picky. In order to let someone else decorate your house I think you have to be open minded, especially that room, it could have been easily changed.

CantWait replied: Vern is wicked, I wish he could come decorate my house, at least my bedroom....he's got some great ideas. Genevieve is alright also, she has some nice bedrooms and living rooms.

Lori and Hildi, no way no how stay clear, and Doug is a lazy little shmuck.

jcc64 replied: The best shows are the ones when they do something insane and then the people come back and cry. Some classics: the one when Doug covered over a beloved fireplace (the woman could be heard sobbing from the next room), the one where Doug turned a bedroom into a Pullman train car, and the one where Hildi painted a giant self portrait on someone's wall. I do occasionally get some good ideas from Vern, but the show is mainly for entertainment value, henceforth, the wacky, tempermental designers. Makes for better tv.

OklahomaSooners replied: Frank is my favorite!! i hate doug too, but my mother in law saw Frank when he came to OKC to give a speech last year... he actually said that Doug is very sweet and he acts like he does on purpose. ( yaya i can't believe it either)

Frank uses COLOR!! I get so sick of the monochromatic (sp?) designs these people do with 1 or 2 colors. And Frank is just plain ol' fun to watch!

MommyToAshley replied: I do have one question...why do they hate ceiling fans???!!?? They always take the ceiling fan down!! Especially in the houses where the homeowners specifically ask that the ceiling fan stay...the first thing they do is take down the ceiling fan!
