Anyone want to help paint my kitchen?

Our Lil' Family wrote: I'm ticked off at DH right now so I think I'm just going to do it myself. He was supposed to tape it all off for me last night and he went to bed at 8:30 after doing NOTHING! I normally let him tape off because he's very meticulous about it but I think I'm just going to get to it today and he can come home to a painted kitchen.

Any takers? Anyone LOVE to paint? lol

DillsMommy replied: I don't "love" to paint. But I'll help you, if you come help me after. We started our kitchen and family room two weekends ago......
What color are you doing?

Our Lil' Family replied: I think it's called Toasted Almond. I'm only doing it to spruce up the house so we can sell it. The original nasty flat paint is still in that room and well, I'd hate buying a house that I had to look at that every day. We painted our bedroom last Saturday, we're hoping this helps us sell faster.

Sorry, can't wait. House needs to get on the market ASAP! But I'm sure I'll be able to find something for you to do while you're here!

The color sounds pretty, I like the name

you would have HATED painting Autumns room it took nearly 4 coats it was terrible

OMG....4 coats!!! No way! I would have stopped after the second. LOL! I just hate when you finish that 1st coat and think you're all done til you look at it and it's not even close.

Our Lil' Family replied: Oh this is definitely going to take 2 coats.

Our Lil' Family replied: You all missed out on the fun! All that I'm going to do is done. Tim can paint around the fridge and cabinets!

holley79 replied: I have learned after painting many rooms in our house, it's easier to cut in then it is to tape off. Good luck girl.
