We were at the mall last year on Christmas Eve. It was crazy at that place. OMG
I hope we don't procrastinate this year.

Anyone started yet? Anyone going shopping on Black Friday-the day after Thanksgiving?

mom2my2cuties replied: Actually I am avoiding our mall from now through New Years and I am dreading even leaving the house.

I live 1/2 mile from the main entrance to the Cool Springs Mall. It is the "big" mall here - besides Opry Mills, where everyone seems to come to shop. And I just soooooo don't want to deal with that

coasterqueen replied: Yes, I have half of the girls stuff already bought. Money is extremely tight this year and so when Ryan tells me there is money in the account to spend I have to spend it or else it will get spent on something else and we won't have a Christmas. I also got my friend's son done yesterday too.

I usually don't do my shopping til after Thanksgiving, but this year has to be different. I really don't like buying so early because I like going out to the stores and shopping in the "Christmas-y" atmosphere. Hopefully next year, I'll get to do that.

I also want to wait to see what comes out this month though too. Usually new toy advertisements come out around Thanksgiving so I don't want to rush it too much.

Donna027 replied: ummm.... Actually I havent really started yet well actually I did start christmas shopping. I bought really pretty silver bracelet... for myself other then that I should really start! I always go right up to the last minute.

Even though I'm starting in December, I'll have evrything organized and when I get to the mall, I'll be a little organized.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Money is very tight this year so all of our Christmas shopping will be done from my Christmas bonus...which I get 3 days before Christmas. So we will be doing EVERYTHING at the last minute.
