Anyone have this toy?

Anyone have this or something similar? We were thinking of getting it for Wil for Christmas but put it back on the shelf. Now I'm thinking of going back and getting it, hopefully it goes on sale! But he loves buidling forts lately out of our couch pillows...and although I like the idea of him using his imagination by "making" it himself, I'm also tired of cleaning the mess.
If you have it, is it totally a waste of money? Is he ready...he's 2.5? Is it one of those, play with it the first time, but never plays with it again toys? Our house is not that big, so I'm sorta wondering about how much space does it take up...and whether it's easy to store.
TIA
moped replied: Of course we have it - is there a toy we don't have?????? LOL
It is BIG and take sup major space and is much better outside - Jack does like it but I only pull it out once in a while
kit_kats_mom replied: I don't have that exact one but we have a similar one. They are big when open but fold down to practically nothing. My cousins had the one on the link and all of the kids (8 mos thru 4 yrs) were enjoying it.
mom2my2cuties replied: Andrea has something like that at daycare and she practically lives in it
Celestrina replied: Ben loves it - we keep it in our basement so he has something to play in while we are doing laundry. When he's not in there our cat is.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Our friends have it. My kids LOVE IT!!! It's so much fun! I want to play in it, too.
jem0622 replied: Fun for them....PITA for you. Great place to pitch toys if they don't have a place to go.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Cool! Thanks everyone! Sounds like a fun toy...I love that it has a small basketball basket on the side and a soccer goal...but we will see how long the balls last with my dog! We have a basement...but it's already getting pretty tight with DH's desk, stationary bike, tv and toys...Hmmm, not sure what to do. Maybe I'll look on Ebay for a used one!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: We don't have that one. We have the castle from Ikea... with the matching tunnel. It's pretyt big though... seemed small, but boy does it ever take up a lot of space. I only take it out once in a while. The kdis are really rough with it though... at 4 and 3 years old... they are TOO rough with it. I think 2.5 is a perfect age.
JadensMama05 replied: We don't have that but we want it! That's sweet! I think I'd have just as much fun as Jaden would with it.
MommyToAshley replied: We have it. In fact, I just packed it away right before Christmas.
Ashley loves it: (Ashley was about 2 here)
MommyToAshley replied: It is big, but it does fold up small for storage.
MommyToAshley replied: And, it's fun for the big kids too. This is my FIL in there. LOL
coasterqueen replied: Ah, now come on Rae.....liven up a bit. Forts are FUN! Granted they do take up a lot of room when you build them and don't make the room look very grandiose, but they are fun. We build them in our house all the time. I went to run an errand last week while on vacation and came home to the most awesome fort DH has built yet. I was even having fun inside of it. Although, my big caboose didn't fit so well in the thing. The BEST part about forts is actually getting to build them. Besides, it helps them with their imagination, too.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Thanks for the pics Dee Dee! Ashley looks like she is having FUN! Your FIL does too!
