Sugar & Spice wrote: i just joined...wondering if anyone else has twins?! wub.gif

mckayleesmom replied: I don't....I bow down to those who do though.... laugh.gif

There are a few here that I know of.

StephanieM replied: I DO!!! My twins are 9 years old. And I'm new here also! I also have a 6.5 year old and a 11 month old. How old are your twins? Hope to talk with you more!

Stephanie

Sugar & Spice replied: My girls are 17 months old! When does it get easier?! rolling_smile.gif

StephanieM replied:
ummmmm......Do you want the truth or a lie? tongue.gif It's hard to say....when I think back, it seemed so much easier then than now. But I'm sure I'll say the same thing about this age when they are 14! lol About how much easier it was at age 9 than it is at age 14. It always seems harder than it really is, but you never realize it until you are past that stage. It's wierd. blink.gif

Sugar & Spice replied: What you say makes sense...because looking back I think it was so much easier before they were mobile! Are yours boys? girls? one of each? Let's see pix please!! This photo is my all time fave...

ITA! tongue.gif Looking back at the times I thought were hardest they really weren't so bad. I was actually suprised at how much it helped that they had each other to play with, I think it basically gets easier with each stage...once they were feeding themselves, once they were potty trained, dressing themselves, etc. Now all three of mine seem pretty close in age because the youngest thinks she's as old as them and is determined to do everything they do.

I'm Monica, my twins are Kylie & Colt, who turned five March 1. I'm also mom to Macie, three. Your girls are darling!

StephanieM replied: I have ALL girls! lol I have no idea how to put a pic up. Can you help me? TIA

Oh, and, what does ITA mean? Thanks again!

luvmykids replied:
ITA=I Totally Agree

As for the pics, you need to upload them to a site like photobucket.com, copy the url link, then in your post click the "img" tag and paste the url link. It will show up like a code but once you add the post the pics should show up. You'll probably need to resize them too once you're in photobucket. Hope that helps.

StephanieM replied:
Thank you so much, I'll have to try and add a pic to my siggy.

Hi, I'm Stella! I don't have twins, but I just wanted to say that this pic is hands down, one of the cutest pics I've EVER seen. wub.gif

Sugar & Spice replied: Thank you wub.gif

Cece00 replied: I have irish twins, which isnt the same, but it was hard too. Welcome to the board!

redplaydoh replied: I don't have twins, mine are not quite 15 mths apart. My friend Amy that does have twin girls told me she'd rather have twins any day than closely spaced children. She pointed out that hers were in the same clothes, same size diapers, eating the same foods, play together etc. Where mine (as babies) wore different sizes in clothes/diapers, one was on solids that still needed to be fed, one was nursing and sampling foods, and that they were both still babies but couldn't interact on the same level.

She said seeing what I had to go through daily made her life seem so much easier. I'm afraid to say that I don't think it ever gets easier, your situations just change. Mine are now 4 and 3 years old with the youngest thinking he's 4 too.
