Anyone else going out to watch the meteor showers - tonight?

My3LilMonkeys replied: We have planned on it for the last 2 nights but unfortunately, both were cloudy.

A&A'smommy replied: wow I didn't know there was going to be one I think I will sneak outside in a few to see if I can see anything

luvmykids replied: YES! Just me though, everyone is asleep. From what I heard it's supposed to peak for me around 11pm so I'm planning on taking a blanket and some coffee out to lay down and enjoy it!

Calimama replied: No, I'm too scared of the coyotes. I might watch from my bed though, I have a great view of the sky.

luvmykids replied: I have to say it has been very, very cool! It's still an hour before they guessed it would "peak" here but wow, it's been awesome! Perfectly clear skies, and it's nice and dark at night where we live.

I had to wake Kylie up after all to see, she's a big fan of wishing on stars and all. She had a hard time seeing them at first but once she caught on it was great!!

mom21kid2dogs replied: We saw lots of them from 10-11pm~some were huge. I just went out again (4am) because they were supposed to peak now but I only saw 2 in 5 minutes then the clouds rolled in. The ones I saw were really long, though. It was well worth it!

redchief replied: I got up at 3:30 AM to have a look and was disappointed... The clouds had moved in.

grapfruit replied: Oh no fair! I went out when it was suppose to peak (about 1am) and there were NO clouds and I didn't see anything. Tim and I stared at the sky for like 15 min and nothing. What a bummer.

BAC'sMom replied: Is it going to continue tonight too?

luvmykids replied: I think I heard you'd be able to see some for the next two nights, but I think last night was the big one.

punkeemunkee'smom replied: It was cloudy and the mosquitos were too bad We will try again tonight...if we have a breeze maybe it will keep the blood suckers at bay too
