Mommy2BAK wrote: John and Kate Plus 8?

I love that show, I think it's my favorite. Can you even imagine having two sets of multiples? I'd have to say that kate as got it together more than I could ever do!

Calimama replied: YES! Their house is so clean and organized. I wish I had her talent. rolling_smile.gif

Crystalina replied: OMG I love it!! Izabella is also hooked. emlaugh.gif Kate reminds me of my sister 100%. The way she handles herself and the way she is with the kids, even down to how she reacts to germs. rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif My sister has only 7 and runs her house pretty much the same. It just makes me laugh.

Boo&BugsMom replied: I love it too! thumb.gif John and Kate act just like Troy and I do. laugh.gif

lovemy2 replied: I LOVE that show - especially when they take them out in public - it is always so funny - my favorite was the one where they went to the 4th of July parade and also to Dutch Wonderland - DH said if that was us with that many kids we would never go out in public - I said well how would they get any socialization - he said he would fence in the yard and who ever wanted to come and socialize could but at least ours couldn't get out laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Sam & Abby's Mom replied: oh yah - LOVE it. I PVR it every week. Every time I think I have it rough,,, I think about them or my Mom (who had 9 kids) and I suddenly dont feel so bad. LOL

On a side note, my dh's grandma gave birth to 3 sets of twins. One set was a stillbirth, though. sad.gif I thought that was pretty amazing (since this was before the age of fertility treatments) and did some reading on fraternal twins - turns out once you have one set of fraternal twins, your chances of having another set increases with each pregnancy!

HuskerMom replied: I saw the show once and liked it. I couldn't imagine having so many. That's got to be a lot of work but I'm sure it's a lot of fun too.

mommy~to~a~bunch replied: I've only seen the previews for it. That Kate kinda irritates me the way she handles herself & the kids sometimes, and as a couple, they aren't all that great.

MoonMama replied: I LOOOOOOVE Jon & Kate Plus 8....Kate is seriously wonder women. rolling_smile.gif DH always says I'm Kate to a T, just in the germ-a-fobic, cleaning, organic, OCD sense. blush.gif rolling_smile.gif

AlexsPajamaMama replied: Oh I love that show too!!

Mommy2BAK replied:
I think i know what you mean about them as a couple... I think she can be a little hateful to him, but i guess I might be more irritable with such a house to manage.

MoonMama replied:
ITA! Can you imagine? wacko.gif wacko.gif

stella6979 replied: I am a huge fan, but Kate gets on my nerves A LOT!! Did you see the episode the other night when they went to the Crayola factory and she didn't want the kids to get messy? They are kids for crying out loud!!!! And I can't stand the way she talks to Jon.....he might as well be a 3 year old as well with the way she talks to him. With that being said though....I have a huge crush on Jon, I think he's great!

sparkys2boys replied:
Oh I sooooo agree. It's funny how she is down right rude to him on camera and he's always like.. WHATEVER..lol

:.Mrs_Mommy.: replied: But that is how they are...They didn't decide to go on nat'l tv and be someone else. It is totally obvious they are in love with each other and I think they make a great couple and they are absolutely awesome parents.

DillsMommy replied: I LOVE that show! I never remember what day/time it comes on though...? Anyone?

Mommy2BAK replied: I'm not sure an exact time since we DVR it, but it comes on Monday nights. thumb.gif

Celestrina replied:
Dutch Wonderland? I know that place, we're planning to go there this summer. Have they said where they live?

DillsMommy replied:
Awesome, thanks!

Mommy2BAK replied:
They live in Pennslyvania.

Celestrina replied:
I thought so - If they know D.W. they can't be too far away.

A&A'smommy replied: I'm not but both my mom and mil LOVE that show tongue.gif oh and my dad

lovemy2 replied:
Yes PA - we are planning on going to DW too this summer ohmy.gif When were you going to go?

Celestrina replied: We haven't set a date just yet, it depends if we can both get off the same day.

jcc64 replied: I like the show, particularly the way it's edited. I like how she snaps, is sometimes rude, impatient, depleted, sick of the whole thing. That's how we all feel sometimes, right? It's what's missing from the Duggar series, which is so heavily edited that they all seem like the Stepford wives or something.
I completely understand her relationship with Jon. He's Korean like my dh, and very very similiar in temperament. Believe me, he's just tuning her out. Going in one ear and out the next. They seem to have a very sweet, loving relationship, and they both seem like good parents.
The two things I marvel at- how GREAT she looks under the circumstances, and how clean their house is. I can't keep my act together with 3 kids.

Anthony275 replied: watching this show ever since the first special aired
i can even tell them all apart, every single one

bawoodsmall replied:
Exactly. It makes me feel like...ok I am not a witch. She loves Jon, that is just the way they are. She is a freak though imo. The whole poop picture thing. Who does that. Especially showing the poop. That was cracking me up. ohmy.gif

abunky replied: i like it , i dont get into to much , but after seeing the duggars (spelling) having 15 kids , i was like wow blink.gif , bless those people for what they do , i know i couldnt handle it
