Boys r us wrote: vacations planned?

I know we're going to the beach a couple of times this summer and then probably to Bush Gardens for a long weekend sometime.
We were supposed to go to the greek islands this spring..but my Dh got a new job and he doesn't have enough time off to do that anymore

5littleladies replied: We are supposed to go to Yellowstone this year but if we put an addition on our house DH will take his vacation time and work on the house. No objections here though.

Elle replied: We're planning to go to Fort Lauderdale to visit Nathan's parents... I've never been there, and I'm pretty excited! Has any of you guys been to Lauderdale? Is it a nice place to go on vacation?

coasterqueen replied: We were going to El Cajun Cali for a week this summer to visit Kylie's grandmother, DH's mom, but that got nixed because we need to save that money to work on our basement.

We just never have enough cash at once to go on a very nice vacation, like somewhere out of state, lol.

DH and I are going on a raft trip on the Current River, MO in July. Sitter is taking vacation in August to go to England, not sure how long, so we HAVE to take most of our vacation time then. We will go camping, that will be our family vacation.

I can't wait. Neither one of us has ever been there, so it should be alot of fun.

We go to Tulsa, Ok every summer to see my mom. Still trying to plan a time this summer though. It's hard to find time when everyone is available.

jen replied: We are going to the Guadalupe River to a cabin for a family reunion trip in July! Then we will probably go on a couple of fishing trips I would imagine! Maybe some day trips around to do stuff but nothing major. I would love to get back on my horse and just go for a ride!!!!!!!! that is my vacation!!! He misses me! When I go out in the pasture now he runs to be screaming his head off wanting to go exploring!!! Poor little guy!!! I think all of my horses are really excited to meet maddy and have me back part time at least!!

We usually go river rafting or tubing on the Guadalupe every year. It has been two years since I have been. I sure can't wait to go back. I love the river. Will you be in New Braunfels?
