Any nascar fans?

mumof2boyz replied: One here too! I was a Dale Sr. fan, until he passed(still am and always will be) so I moved on to Dale Jr. DH is a huge fan too!

boobies4virtue replied: I'm not a racing fan, but my grandpa and virtue's grandpa are. My grandpa likes the #24 guy and Larry (virtue's grandpa) likes the #8 guy. I dunno which one is which. They battle by buying her their respective racers' stuff, like baby blankets and onesies. lol, then thye take pictures and say, "Now, you makes sure you show that to Gilbert/Larry!"

We do the battle in our family too. Sis is a 24 fan and dh was an earnhardt and is now a jr and harvick fan. Me a Martin fan. So it is always interesting here. My 3 yr old dd will tell them all Mark is #1 and he gonna win. It kilss my dh. Plus I can't stand harvick so dd and ds say harvick stinks! lol

3'smom replied: Mark is from Batesville Arkansas. I first started watching racing when I was going to the dirt track in Pocola, Ok. He used to race there so I picked him as my driver cause he was kinda from the area. He has a Ford dealership in Batesville and is opening a museum on site there with all his trophies and memorabilla! So ya know there is a road trip to Batesville in my future!

b&bsmom replied: I've been a maritn fan since Richard Petty retired. I was die hard RP fan. I did everything including my wedding red and blue or 43. I wore a 43 earring on my garter for something blue. Anyway, I went to my first race when I was 4 and my dad was a wood brothers fan his friend was a petty fan and he brainwashed me. My dad now likes Dale Jarret he had picked my dd to like tony stewart when she was little but when she turned 4 she picked Dale Jr. she has a backpack and towel for school plus a lunch box and now her room is done in Dale Jr stuff. My dad picked Matt Kenseth for my son who is 2 and he does route for him. My dh didn't like racing till he met me. He is a Michael Waltrip fan. For my 21st bday my parents got everyone I know to chip in to send me to Buck Baker racing school I was the only girl there and I loved it. Oh and we also have a signed used Petty tire in our kitchen. When I was a teen my dad and I drove 8hrs to NC spent the night in a hotel went thru the Petty museum and then drove 8hrs home. We are big NASCAR fans.

Michael Waltrip was at the mall when I lived in baton Rouge. I filmed him and if i get a scanner I'll post a pic. He was rushed but had presigned alot of autographed pics and I was lucky enough to get one. I had two toddlers in a double stroller and managed to walk out of the mall with a lifesize cut out of him also! LOL My sis has a Jeff Gordon tire in her living room!

My mom was/is a Dale Earnhardt SR fan, she likes Jr. ok but he is not her favorite driver. She is more of a Matt Kenseth fan. My dad well he changes around all the time. I don't think he really has a favorite anymore.
