mammag replied: I'll probably do the usual and just let him purchase one of the many gun parts or knives he has his eye on. His mom always takes us out to eat for Father's day since his daddy is gone so I don't have to do that. He's also not the most sentimental guy around so it's kind of boring here....

Kaitlin'smom replied: yep I got DH and my dad done, well still have to get the cards but the gift part is done, he gets to do his family.

I am taking my dad to see The Underpants by Steve Martin it being performed locally here and I know one of the actors, it should be a hoot.

DH I dont want to say incase he happens to pop on here and see it, dont want to ruien the supprise

kit_kats_mom replied: I ordered a photo book from Shutterfly. I put pics of the girls interacting with dad & quotes & poems about fatherhood. I'm also going to make a tee shirt with "daddy's girls" written on it and both of their hand/foot prints.

Jamison'smama replied: For my DH--I'm still unsure. I had the kids pictures taken and they'll be ready by the Friday before. I will it framed for his desk---other than that, I am hoping to hear some ideas myself.

For his birthday I got him a lawn service. Now, not for mowing because he is the most anal retentive person alive about his lawn so I got Chemlawn for treatments and it's amazing.

If I wanted to spend 300.00 I might get him the digital picture frame I saw at Brookstone yesterday.

Does he have an office? Need any art in there? A new briefcase? Keyring? Moneyclip?

coasterqueen replied: from me he is getting a few new shirts as long as he promises to throw away some of the disgusting ones in his closet.

from the girls i think i'mgoing to get their picture taken and have it framed or put on a mousepad..if i have time.

for my dad....no clue!

I absolutely love shutterfly I made photo books for my mom and mother-in-law from tripp for mother's day. But for father's day I was thinking about taking a picture of Tripp in the same pose as a picture I have of my husband when he was the same age and putting it in one of those side-by-side frames since they look so much alike.

mom21kid2dogs replied: This year I've been Ebay'ing my brains out to raise the cash for something I saw on Mother's Day, ironically! I saw it on HSN it's called Canvas on Demand. They take your photos and transfer them to canvas.I already got it and it's incredible! He mentioned he'd like to replace the picture on the mantle but I never got my act together to get another portrait of her taken. I think he'll love this!

I have some Garden Stones kits and Olivia, Bailey & Dudley are going to make their own stones for Daddy's pretty flowers.

He loves those photo ties from personal creations but he wears ties every day. I also made him a Tshirt a few years ago that said "We walk all over daddy" and painted O & the dog's feet and let them walk all over it. O thought it was fun, the dogs~not so much!

What picture did you use for the Canvas on Demand? I just looked at their website and it looks amazing--did you get the photo/realistic kind or the brushstrokes? Did it turn out as well as you hoped?

Maddie&EthansMom replied: So far just cologne. I took a picture of the kids (that b&w one of them holding hands) and I plan on doing something with that. He is really easy to please.

My dad: I have NO clue what to get him. A picture of the kids would make him happy and a nice shirt or something

FIL: I'll let Scotty get him something. He is a PITA and hates everything we get him anyway.

My dad is impossible to buy for - he always says not to get him anything. Maybe I'll go with my childhood tradition of circus peanuts and caramels!

Emeraldsmom replied: Well, for Dh he really likes me to give him a massage. He always talks about how he wants to get a professional one at a spa, but he never has. So I am going to give him a gift certificate for one!

On Mothers day Dh got me a coffee mug w/ Emeralds pic. on it and my dad fell in love w/it. So I think I will get my dad the same thing w/ a pic of Emerald and myself on it!

paradisemommy replied: i do the same thing every year - get a t-shirt through shutterfly with my favorite picture of dh and ds and then we paint the opposite side to include hand and feet prints and date -
