Another tragedy - this one really got me....

Young Boys Die In Sweltering SUV
And to think this woman ran a DAYCARE???? So, if your kids are not in the daycare, duh, go and look for them maybe?
This one really got to me, so sensless and uncalled for......one was Anders age........I am sitting here typing this in tears.....
CantWait replied: Did she seriously not notice that the boys weren't around??? How senseless can some people be
paradisemommy replied: miscommunication??? ok maybe but after you see your husband again or realize after about 15 minutes that you haven't seen the boys...duh..hello??? come on - 5 HOURS???? are people really this stupid?
MomToMany replied: OMG!!! How can people be SO stupid! To think how those boys suffered ! I can't believe she waited 5 HOURS to look for them-what an idiot! Sorry for my strong words-the stupid people in the world really get to me!
Kaitlin'smom replied: OMG how dumb can you be, if she was the last to drive the car then she should be making sure everyone was out of the car! And how can you not miss a 5 and 3 year old after an 1 hour at the most! that makes me mad! she should be charge with something thoes poor kids something that could have easily be advoided............ soooo very sad
shelrae00 replied: Here is Tucson 2 weeks ago we just had a 21 year old mom with 3 kids go out on a Sat night, pick up 2 of her 3 kids (at 5 am) from her mom's early sunday morning and then go home to get some sleep. She took the 3 year old inside with her and went to bed. She realized she forgot her 6 month old in the car 5 1/2hours later. Needless to say, the little girl had died. We are in Tucson!!! It is 82 right now and it is 8 in the morning!!! She found the baby at 10:30! it was probably 125 or so in that car! Apparently she had been drinking and taking some other "fun" stuff! Who forgets there babies or kids in the car?
I am still shocked about the 5 year old. only because marshall is 5 and he undoes his seatbelt and if the child lock is on, he climbs thru the front of the car. But it does not matter, the woman should be charged with murder! Miscommunication or not, How do you forget about your children for 5 hours!!! I am amazed at the ignorance of people sometimes!!! Some one should put her in a carseat for 5 hours and see how her children suffered!!!
just my opinion!!!
mckayleesmom replied: I think the way i read the article sounded different then the rest of you are seeing it,,,,,I don't think she planned on the kids ever coming in,,,,she left them outside in the car for her husband to swing by and grab them,,,,because they are lazy and if she took them inside, the husband would have to come in to get them. But he didn't swing by and get them ( that is where the miscommunication comes in) That is why the cops said that cars are not babysitters.. At least that is how I understood it.....Either way she should go go jail for that, don't take on children if you are not willing to put your all into taking care of them.
Schnoogly replied: I know, this was on our local news when it happened. I can't imagine how this would happen. I mean, why isn't the first thing you do to get the kids out of the car? They can walk, get them out and put them in the house, then go get the groceries or whatever. And 5 hours?? Didn't she wonder where they were??? It's that hot here. I leave all the doors open when Iain is in his seat for the 30 seconds I put the stroller in the trunk then I blast the a/c towards him. And I hate that he is all sweaty when we get home.
This is horrible, what a horrible way for a child to die (not that there is any good way!) Are they sure the parents weren't drinking?? This seems like it was either deliberate or there were substances involved.

Now I do not know WHATS going on but here is 3 stories just from today!!
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (July 9) - A mother has been charged with trying to sell her toddler son for $500 so she could buy a stash of the addictive painkiller OxyContin.
Brianna Marie Burns, 23, could get up to five years in prison if convicted.
Burns' grandmother contacted authorities after Burns allegedly offered to sell her the 2-year-old child. An undercover officer wired the grandmother and provided her with $500 for the exchange, according to police documents.
Burns was arrested Monday after receiving the money and signing custody of the child over to her grandmother. She was being held on $102,500 bond.
Child Protective Services has placed the child with another family member.
OxyContin is a prescription painkiller often given to cancer patients. If chewed, snorted or injected, it produces a quick and potentially lethal high. The drug has been linked to more than 100 deaths.
The sale of a child was a misdemeanor in West Virginia until 1994, one year after a Charleston woman was convicted of trying to sell her 1-month-old baby to undercover officers for $1,400 so she could buy a mobile home. That led the state to change the law, making the crime a felony.

WHAT IS GOING ON?????
supermom replied: I just can't get these two little boys out of my mind for some reason.......like I said, this one really got to me. Not that I am not affected by ALL children's senseless deaths, but I went to sleep thinking about these boys and they were on my mind first thing this morning..............
And the rest, all I can say is that I hope all the parents get no less than these children got.....
MommyToAshley replied: I have tears in my eyes thinking about how those little boys suffered. Can you imagine dehydrating to death? That must be soooo aweful.
There are so many of these stories, why don't people ever learn? I read the story to be that same way mckayleesmom did. But, even if my DH was going to swing by, there is no way I would leave my kids in a car by themselves to keep from being inconvenienced. Even if it is a minute or two... someone could come by and snatch them or anything could happen. I think they should be charged to the maximum the law allows, but that will still not be as bad as punishment as knowing that you killed your kids.
Kaitlin'smom replied: that just makes me mad that peole can be soo careless and harm kids. I just dont understand why they would want to do that! I am gonna hug my little girl alot tonight. I can't waite to go pick her up!
