Another Logan Update

He did throw up 2 times last night, after meds both times. But meds taste nasty. I think maybe we need to make sure he has more in his tummy before he takes them next time. His appetite is coming back. He loves pudding. We sat him up in bed for a bit this morning. It made him cough, but he liked looking around. I am still waiting for a good smile, but I would settle for a halfway one. The nurse says today's goal is to make him happier. I would sure love to see that. He is snuggling his bunny rabbit, and sleeps holding it's ear in his hand. At least that hasn't changed.

moped replied: You are such a strong woman to go thru all this and he is such a trooper - I know he will be just great and give you that sweet smile before you know it - how long will he be in?

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: We don't know. The doctors say the average stay after open heart surgery is 4-6 days. I definately don't think it will be only 4.
