Anonymous Members - Do you ever do that?

I was wondering why people decide to be anonymous when they are on the boards, and if you have ever done it.

I've been a member of other boards where you could be anonymous, and alot of people did it. Mainly because they were alot more popular than other members and would often be bombarded with posts regarding them, if they wern't anonymous you'd have people making post's just to say "Hey Tania", so they remained anonymous so they could just read posts without being bugged by other members. But, I don't think it's like that here because no one person seems to be more popular than another. Some people are more well known, but everyone is included, KWIM?
I guess it's just nice to be able to browse through without having people know you're here?? I often check to see who's on, and whenever I see 1 anonymous member I speculate as to who it is

Anyway, no I don't , how would you even do that? With my luck I would forget my password to get back in and then I'd have to change my username.

Edward's Mommy replied: I've never done for two reasons. 1. I don't know how! and 2. I have it set up on my computer to where I click on it in my favorites list and I don't have to sign it because I already am. The only time I need to actually sign it is when my computer has been turned off.

Same here! Sometimes it happens without me knowing it, but I have never done it on purpose.

C&K*s Mommie replied: I never have. Sometimes I may stay as a guest for a few minutes while I am checking to see what is going on, but once I log in, I stay logged in until I log out.
