mom2my2cuties replied: I always hate to let her wear shorts because of how badly her legs look smile.gif I am glad I am not the only with a beat up child. She is SO very rough - I do have a question and would like your opinons on it.

See that red spot on her nose? It has been there for probably 6 months...Almost looks like a small sore but under the skin- but it wont go away. Think I should mention it at her next doctor appointment? Or is it more than likely a birth mark?

Maddie&EthansMom replied: She's beautiful and she has her daddy's eyes wub.gif

The red mark could be one of those spider birthmarks, but I would mention it to the doctor just in case. wink.gif

MoonMama replied: Tish she is such a doll. I love her hair! wub.gif

TANNER'S MOM replied: She is cute.. love her hair..lol

Your Dh is handsome also.

Tanner still has those legs. The Doctor told me once, they look for bruises above the knees for abuse..lol That kids all have those little pin bruises because they are kids and playing constantly. Plus there skin is thinner and the bruising is easier to see. I used to freak about it so bad that I had to ask the Doctors.

Just an FYI, if your child starts getting lots of bruises all over the body and above the knees you need to mention it to your doctor.

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: She's a cutie!!

Mackenzie gets a lot of bruises on her legs also!!

mom2my2cuties replied:
Well poor thing has had every blood test run on her body imgainable. smile.gif Earlier this year they thought she had Leukemia and she was in the hospital for a long time for it - Turned out it was cat scratch disease and a simple surgery fixed it.

But yeah I told my husband the number of bruises she gets on her legs and the fact that they NEVER seem to go away really bothers me smile.gif Because she has a gentic disposition to serious forms of anemia.

TANNER'S MOM replied:
Yes you knew what I meant. I didn't want to scare anyone..lol
When Britt was about her age they thought she had Luekomia also, and she had tons of bruises like that. At one time she had over 100 on her body, and they were just small like that. And they also thought she was a midget. She was almost 2 and weighed maybe 14lbs.and was very short. They were checking for all kinds of stuff..but like you she was good and healthy, just tiny little girl.

She is now a healthy but short 16 year old!!!

mom21kid2dogs replied: Too cute! I love curly hair but it always looks so hard to take care of! She is adorable!! wub.gif

BAC'sMom replied: wub.gif she's a cutie

luvbug00 replied: Beatuiful eyes!!!! wub.gif

mom2my2cuties replied:
Andrea's bruises mostly have legitimate reasons for being there - they just hang around. Both my dad and grandfather had Aplastic Anemia (Where your body just doesn't form blood) and since that is gentic - I worry about her and those bruises. I know she should be ok - because thankfully that whole thing skipped me and the rest of the kids - but you never know where it will show up. And it's not always something that shows up right at birth. My dad was around Andy's age when his was discovered.

But I think it is more she is an EXTREMELY rough little girl.

Adrienne522 replied: She is so cute. What a great biggrin.gif
