We went to the library Saturday. As we were leaving, some guy was coming in to the library. Well, the doors they have are the kind that you can push the button to make them open or just open by hand and then they will stay open for a moment. Well, Cade decided to be sweet and hold the door for the guy walking in (not realizing how they worked). They guy says (in a sarcastic tone) "Thanks, it's an automatic door". Now why couldn't he just say thanks, realizing Cade was trying to do a good deed, and leave it at that. Instead he had to embarass him? I told Cade it didn't matter that he did the right thing and that was really good of him.

That was very rude of the guy and he should be ashamed of himself. He wouldn't know a good deed if it slapped him in the face. That's ok it'll catch up with him. He's lucky I wasn't there because I would have made him feel about an inch tall by tell him he's so welcome.
