Oh, also, im STILL 3 cm, 50% effaced and he is still at a -2 station. Same as I have been for 3 weeks!! Grrrr....!

coasterqueen replied: Ouchie on the stripping . Well I hope your little one comes on his own. Quite frankly I think they shouldn't push that quickly for an induction anyways as long as the levels are safe.

My OB did that with my last baby and I went into labor 7 hours later ... and probably b/c I'd had twins the time before, but I was only in labor for 2.5 hours so I'll pretend it was because of the membrane stripping and wish the same for you! Good luck and congrats!

CAMSMOM1 replied: Even though membrane stripping can be uncomfortable, it's nothing like being induced with Pitocin! So I agree with you, when your body is ready, it'll happen. Hopefully after the procedure it'll get things rocking and rolling! Come out of there baby, we want to welcome you to the world!

No, nothing yet! I was pretty crampy all day yesterday afterwards but thats about it. I read a few posts on another website about stripping membranes and most of the women said getting their membranes stripped didnt do anything.

I hope it helps me out!!!! My due date is tomorrow. Only 5% of women have their babies on their due date. I hope im that 5% because I cant take it anymore!!!!

scattytart replied: i also had had a sweep on the 6th and now on the 8th having very bad period like contractions not sure if it's labour so will wait and see, i hope it works for you. It really does depend on if your babys ready or not i was 3cm dilated when i had a sweep so i think baby was ready. finger crossed this is labour and fingers crossed the sweep works for you good luck
